There are far more Crowley's and Jacobs' than there are Cornes' though. Even with Kane, he might have racked up touches, but didn't do much damage.

Brad Ebert tagging Kennedy in 2014 probably the last time I remember a Port player effectively tagging a mid while having a meaningful impact with the ball themselves.
Drew does it very well; albeit a wee bit too slow for Daicos.

No he won't. If it happens it will be used as an excuse for a loss.

I think there are more similarities between Rozee and Daicos tbh. Watching Butters is entirely different, though that is no slight on Daicos.

Watching that amazing boundary line goal from Connor Rozee a week back reminded me of Peter Daicos. That is just the sort of thing the Macedonian Marvel did with regular monotony.

Not sure about Butters, but we will certainly roll the dice with Mackenzie even if he's wheel chair bound & has no sensation in his legs. You can be sure that you won't get the same luxury Carlton got of kicking a cheap bag on Jonas this Saturday night.

That’s a pity. A cheap bag on Jonas sounds great to me! Guess we’ll just have to do it the hard way.

Ironically Josh Carr was a pretty fair tagger, just ask Mark Riccuito. Obviously times have changed and the Coaching staff do not ask anyone to play the way they themselves did.

I’m flying over for this one so hope it will be a ripper!

OUT: DBJ Lord Mead Jonas McEntee Duursma
IN: JHF Dixon Rioli Burton McKenzie Fantasia
SUB: Duursma
They promoted Duursma far too early.
Oh, well; the damage was done last week, so they will probable will leave him in.
The same logic should apply to Fanta, one game after coming back from injury, he needs to prove his body is OK with a string of games in the SANFL.
Who knows? Fantasia could be our cherry ripe X factor come finals.

Our wings were dreadfull, I would promote Evans and the forgetten man Dumont.
And I point out the Pies play the Lions in a couple of weeks, so even if we do not win, we are still in the race for second spot.

Jonas has such a strong vertical leap that we could probably play him in the ruck. Then when the ball hits the ground, he'll be like an extra midfielder using his contested game and ability to burrow out the tough handballs in traffic.

The only thing that gives me any confidence, is that the last time we were focussed more on player management than results, was after we blew the Hawks out in the first half and then spent the rest of the game focusing on saving energy, resting players, etc.

We were all worried that slow finish would lead to a bad start the next week off the short break, but in fact we found out that in hindsight it was really good player management and we had our selves primed for the next week.

There's no doubt we preferred player management last week. The only complexity is there's definitely some injury concerns in there.

I hope we win. I'd love to believe we can mix it with these guys and that we really are a contender, but I still think Collingwood's ball movement will carve us up. I don't think our ability to defend fast rebounding teams, like we saw last week, is up to scratch. If we don't use the ball perfectly we get torn to shreds and under Collingwoods pressure I expect them to turn that into fast rebounding into an empty forward line, scoring at will.

Collingwood in a comfortable win by 27.

I don't know, Duursma had as many touches as Bergmann and McEntee combined. He wasn't that bad for a first up and I reckon he will be better for the run. Duursma was credited with 22 disposals and 8 marks. Playing him as the tactical sub isn't going to improve his match fitness. If anyone is looking at the tactical sub bib it might be Miles Bergmann who has not had a decent game since he inked his contract extension. Miles needs a wake up call.

Orazio Fantasia should not enter calculations for another two weeks at least. Let him prove his fitness with the Port Magpies before even considering him.

If we get the players back that the media are suggesting I don't think there will be room for Evans or Dumont. It is hard to suggest ins and outs atm as we do not know for sure who will be fit.

Firstly, apologies for the intrusion.

I only moved to SA a few months ago, so have not been to Adelaide Oval.

The question I have is, is it similar to the G, where you can walk up and get in.
Or is it fully ticketed, so you must be a member to get in?

It is Port v Collingwood so assume that it is fully ticketed. The Adelaide Oval is less than half the capacity of the G so walk up tickets are harder to come by. I just took a look at the Ticketek site and they have the 'Allocation Exhausted' sign up.

The game is sold out to general admission I believe. Your only bet is to sign up for a 3 match membership at Port Adelaide to get access to the game.

Please be aware, tickets for Port Adelaide’s Round 19 clash with Collingwood are currently exhausted. For further information please visit the Port Adelaide website here.

Fans can access the blockbuster clash with a 3-Game Membership for just $100.
This membership also unlocks access to the final three home games of the 2023 season against Collingwood, GWS and Richmond plus priority access to finals tickets for Weeks 1-3.

You can buy a 3 game Port membership, sit in the nose bleed seats😂

This is the stupidest post I've seen.

If we do this we won't be able to use his run and carry and laser-like foot skills to hit up targets inside 50.

Why is all of this so funny?

It just (at Jonas' expense) reveals how unskilled he is as a footballer. What are his actual useful attributes lol.

Place his body in the general vicinity of an opponent, basically.

Kayo it is then :)

Is it really his first game back, or is it his 2nd back and has played 5 of the last 6? Like I told you yesterday.

Remember we are in Lie About Injuries Week so Fantasia has actually played 300 consecutive games and is jetting off to the Mr Universe finals after the season ends.
Dixon just won the lateral agility competition at the club, he's absolutely cherry ripe.

Xavier took quite a few weeks to get up to speed last time. I wouldn't expect his best for a month.
