Collingwood like to score via launching attacks from their back half

Port like to score via locking the ball inside their forward half

How's this going to play out?

Not sure about Butters, but we will certainly roll the dice with Mackenzie even if he's wheel chair bound & has no sensation in his legs. You can be sure that you won't get the same luxury Carlton got of kicking a cheap bag on Jonas this Saturday night.

Butters back of my mind I'm thinking Osteitis pubis. Would be consistent with what to expect though overload and the fact Butters has gone from minimal midfield time before round 3 to being a running machine over the past 13 weeks.

I’m a little concerned about when the scans were actually done

Day after and waiting 3 days for the results or were the scans done 3 days after the game?

If the scans were done 3 days after the game and the inflammation has settled then WTF

We will see but we better have insurance for Butters being cactus at 1/2 time.

I still reckon he has absolutely nothing wrong with him. Didn't see any sort of issue when he was on the field.

We decided we didn't give a **** about Carlton and so half-ass managed him through the game.

With a player on Moore that absolutely sits on him and likewise Quaynor.

Don’t worry about tagging Daicos Moore and Quaynor are what’s going hurt us.

Moore cuts teams up if you go long and high moving the ball forward. He zones off really aggressively and has the athleticism to get to any ball with too much “hang time”.

He does give you a look though if you move the ball quickly on angles into the forward 50.

Focus has to be on shorter ball movement breaking through their waves of pressure. Aggressive forward handballs out of stoppages can set us up but if we invite pressure with backward handball in inevitably ends up with a rushed kick forward which they rebound off and score.

I can’t see us executing clean enough consistently given then personnel at the moment but as long as the signs are there of a method it will be an interesting game.

McKenzie looks like playing so Jonas can * off
Should be our biggest home crowd for the year, good opportunity to announce his retirement and bring him out for the first goal of the game.

Port struggle to defend teams that launch off half back. Last week Carlton slaughtered us from rebound off HB. We need to be effective with our ball use or it'll get ugly.

I'll be pleasantly surprised with a sub 40 point loss tbh, we win or we lose big that seems to be our theme, and after what we witnessed last week a win is highly unlikely.

Firstly, apologies for the intrusion.

I only moved to SA a few months ago, so have not been to Adelaide Oval.

The question I have is, is it similar to the G, where you can walk up and get in.
Or is it fully ticketed, so you must be a member to get in?
Some one has probably answered but heard on radio it was a sell out..

We know how it plays out.

We spend 75% of the time in our forward half without scoring.

Collingwood finally get though our press and score easily.

Must say, I love the fact we're training under lights. Not that it'll achieve any short term improvement, but I really like it as a general tactic for preparing us for games. We should do a heck of a lot more training under lights. Especially given our pretty poor record in night games at AO.

When you are talking about being as good as you can be, these are the sorts of stones you want to turn over.

Having said that, I imagine changing training schedules does have meaningful impact on meals, their content and what they deliver and when. Along with sleep disturbances etc. So all gotta be factored in.

He was on the news on Monday they interviewed him outside Jones & Partners/Sports Med.
