He was walking around with a noticeable limp, would not be surprised at all if it is an ACL though of course really hope it isn't.

From The Age newspaper

Fagan confirmed the 19-year-old remained “uncertain” over the extent of the damage, the fact he was able to put some weight on the leg while being escorted from the field a hopeful sign a setback such as an ACL rupture had not been sustained.

Pretty easy really, Dev comes in.

Though, pretty concerned with the form of Starcevich. He gets caught with the ball regularly, is clearly scared in marking contests and his disposal is sub standard. Sure he's played really good games this year but his worst is pretty poor. I'm hoping he can regain his zip but he looks like he's struggling to me.
starcervich's impact should be measured by that his opponent has on the game

stengle who was an all australian forward pocket last year was basically invisible last night. not allowed into the game but for a free kick really

i think hes playing to a similar level as last year , just not standing out so much due to the fact our whole team is looking a lot better - which is a good thing

Has Dev ever really been given a go in the rotation as a full time mid? From memory he may have spent some time there in the finals last year as more of a defensive minded mid, but has he ever been allowed to play as a ball getter? We’re going to need another one of them now.

We've gone through this with Hippy and Rayner. Hipwood for certain has come back and is playing his best footy. Rayner has shown throughout the year his recovery is complete as well. From all reports Ashcroft will work through his recovery process the most seamlessly you will ever see and hopefully come back better than ever.

It really is beyond time for Rayner to step up. He was terrible against Melbourne and only average against Geelong. I think it is reasonable for people to start asking when he is going to be more than a good ordinary player. He is starting to look very overrated when compared to another number one draft pick Jason Horne-Francis.

One wouldn’t think it’s to much to ask. As much as I’m not a fan but JUH impacts games and has more influence on games like JHF and both are years younger. I suspect Harley Reid will be showing more by round 5 or 6 next year to.
