Couldn’t see a thread, or maybe it got pushed to the second page by all the toast threads?

Out: Ledwards (inj), Nelson, Kennedy (rest) or Waterman
In: Shuey, Kelly, Petruccelle

Backs: Barrass, Gov, Hurn, Witherden, Duggan, Foley, Hough
Mids: Shuey, Kelly, Redden, XON, West, Naish
Rucks: NicNat, Dixon
Forwards: Kennedy/Waterman, Darling, Ryan, Rioli, Petruccelle, Jones, Langdon
Sub: Nelson
Emergencies: Rotham, Winder, Waterman/Billiams

Nelson unlucky but I think he makes a good sub. Give Yeo another week, ditto Gaff, ditto SPS.
We got maximum value from limited touches from Kennedy but consecutive six day breaks might be too much for him. If he is right to play then Waterman comes out, I don’t think playing the three of them as deep talls works, even though he kicked that important late goal.

Good thing about a Friday game is the emergencies can all play the WAFL the following day.

In: Yeo
Out: Edwards (inj)
Shuey & Kelly to play a week in the WAFL after a few weeks out.
If those 2 come in, then 2 of West, Langdon or Witho out I suppose.
Dunno how long SPS and Gaff are out for yet. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday.

I think Shuey in is a good move. Need that big body in the midfield, clearance specialist (with actual quality ball use). He's also the captain and can be protected by allowing more rotation through centre, which keeps West, Rioli, Duggan, XON rolling through there so there's fresh looks continuing and not the same CB set up each week.

Yeo who is coming off a longer lay off can get managed minutes to build in the WAFL.

Shuey in for Edwards.

Hope Jones keeps his spot for a bit as I like what he offers. Got some mongrel and shows glimpses of class. He and SPS might be fighting for the same spot as a mid/fwd rotation, where I feel like Petruccelle is more fwd than mid.

I assume Kelly will come in with Shuey, Edwards out but not sure who else. Want to see XON work with Shuey, Kelly and Redden and not play as an underling but as an equal.

I think Hough goes out with Edwards (give the guy a rest).
Shuey in for Edwards.
Kelly or Yeo in for Hough, the one left out goes through the wafl for a week.

Petch plays wafl as Langdon has been excellent and dont see a reason to drop him as yet.
OA spends more time recovering same with Crippa and Clark (WAFL if good to go).

Want to see a semi settled side for a week if possible. (setting aside any covid related rubbish).

Out: LEdwards (groin), JJones, Nelson.
In: Shuey, Yeo and Petch.
Jones only had 6 possessions no scores, Edwards is injured and Nelson for Yeo is a no brainer. Frankly it's hard to drop anyone after that performance. It would be pretty unfair to take Xon and West out given that game was probably their best career games but if Gaff, Yeo, Shuey and Kelly are available it's hard to leave them out.

No changes. Come back, one week.

Jones has just come back from a lobotomy, he'll be better for the run - but before that had been tearing it up and offering a helluva lot more than Petch does.

... and it's not hard to leave Gaff out. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Allow Gaff to get to full fitness, he's been playing underdone for a while and frankly his footy has gone down a bit. We got Naish thats played a months worth of good football so we won't miss him much. Nelson was handy on the wing today too I thought and more than happy to see him play defensive wing if we need to with an attacking Naish on the other

Edwards, Jones, West, Rotham (if he's not inside he has no place in the team as his skill are horrendous) out.
Shuey, Kelly, Yeo, Petch

Yeo as the sub with someone mysteriously being "injured" about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

As long as Willie's playing we're a chance
My favourite player is Rioli. What a shame we missed him for past two season. Just an absolute brilliant player to watch. Has it all and with Ryan also that's a small forward duo to dream of. We might be down on midfield but we have the best small forwards in the league.

It's a bit unbelievable to think that we are higher up the ladder then Port and on the same points as Bulldogs and GWS.

The ladder is wide open so even after the distaster of the first 3 games due to Covid we can still get our season back on track.
Yesterdays game against the Pies was massive in terms of our season. It's put us back in the pack. As long as no more Covid isolations we should be good from here with Shuey and Kelly coming back into the squad we are building our side up again.
Then there's questions of who goes out.
Naish and O'Neil and West been pretty good at times and deserve a spot.

We have Shuey Kelly Gaff Yeo Sheed all waiting in the wings now.

Gaff and Sheed shouldnt be automatic selections.
Yeo can take hbf if need be.
