Opinion Changes GWS V Bulldogs Saturday 18/6/22

The seating arrangements this season are all over the shop. I'm a gold member but against Geelong I was placed in a sea of Geelong supporters. Worse still, many of those supporters have the attitude that they expect to beat us. Very frustratingly, they do just that year after year.

I wonder if it is easier for friends to be able to just forward tickets now, from the app, meaning people don't have to physically give the old membership cards to someone, or be at the game to sneak oppo supporters in.

Hard to know what to make of this game.

Giants have been pretty average this year, but we have been only slightly less average.

If it were at Marvel I’d back us, up there I’m expecting a close one.

Old mate Greene is a worry. Hopefully we put Duryea on him.

I’m in aisle 34 and it’s a constant theme. Pre covid every seat was taken as a bulldog reserve seat. Not all renewed and or people sneaking in as opposition supporters are now mixed with reserve seat members. They so far have been theatre going loud mouths.

I'm the 46 year old who wears an older style woolen jumper. Can get quite animated and I help get the bulldog chant going most weeks. Aisle 34, N 43, 44, 45. Sometimes with my boys (5 and 7 or wife or Dad).

I agree unfortunately its not going to happen this year. We really only have a year or two left before our best onballers past there peak, so they can't afford to waster these years. The game plan is wrong. You can't dominate possession and inside 50's yet keep losing each week. Its needs to be tweaked.

My seats were changed this year to front row instead of row C, because I forgot to reserve them.

Geelong game about to start and three Geelong supporters rock up to sit beside us. They were decent, but it just puts a cramp on things, I pay for seats so I don’t have to sit with the opposition.

Very interested to see the team sheet tonight, obviously there should be changes to the way we structure up but i feel the week off was just perfect for our poor performance to be brushed under the rug. Wind up and go again

I’d be bringing in Marra, Sweet, Schache, Bedendo - out Buku, McComb, Scott & Baz

I'm strongly of the opinion we should be playing 3 talls, 2 smalls and a resting mid up forward. At a minimum we should always have at least 2 of Naughts, Mara and Shack up there, Bruce when he's fit. Keep Flea and West as our pressure forwards and rotate through a resting mid. It would mean that the likes of Scott, McNeil, McComb won't be playing but I genuinely can't see how it would affect our ability to move the football up field. Use our running ball carriers in Dale, Ed, Daniel etc. and it straightens us up immensely when English or Naughts need a spell on the bench. I'd love to see Mara and Shache come in this week but it just feels like a pipe dream with our current match selection philosophies.
