When was the last time Willo played againts the Roos, he came in this year round 4 againts the Crows, i thought he caused them greif in both games this year and i wonder how the Roos are going to be able to stop him with their injury worries down there..

Im thinking Mark Williams will be the difference againts the Roos and he will be the match winner..........

Willo kicked 4 goals 1 in round 3, 07. I think he lead the Coleman at that stage. If only he could repeat that.

Buddy kicked 3 and Rough 1 in a 21 point lose.

This time, I'm thinking Buddy to have a day out with 6, Rough and Willo with 3 each.

Gee, if Morton gets dropped it would be very stiff.

For someone who has less than 5 games of experience, I thought he played brilliantly in Adelaide.

Also agree with Big Ronnie; Highly unlikely we will see more than 3 changes to the squad.

I think it was a 21 point win?

Quite concerned about this week to be honest - Laidley seems to have the game plan to bring us unstuck so it will be interesting to see if we are up to it.

Not sure Morton will be ommitted? He was in the best on the weekend?

I finally watched the game (twice) and took particular note of Murphy as I had read here that he was 'not up to it' and that 'his disposal was lacking'.

From watching the game I have decided that a few people on here have pre-conceived ideas in their heads about certain players. Yes, Murphy was beaten in that 1st quarter but he held his own after that. And his disposal was first rate (and he has the highest disposal efficiency at Hawthorn). So from now on, i'm just going to ignore certain posters as their bias is clouding their judgment and in the process, clouding the judgment of others like myself who cant watch every game.

And FWIW, i've been a recent critic of Young but I thought he played some damn fine football on the weekend. More of that please Clint! :thumbsu:

Back to the thread topic - like BR said - the club had its best win for ages so very minimal changes

I was watching for the exact same thing. I think Murphs game was fantastic. He did well.

Also praise goes out to Morton who was great. Had a real dip.
