Don’t think I would be referring to Frampton as a proven tall defender. Not sure what will happen with the forward line but the backs won’t be changed.

Frampton is more proven as a defender than Krueger, McInnes or Hoskin-Elliott as a marking forward.

How do you imagine us kicking the 12-15 goals that we’ll need to win in fast dry conditions? Howe forward (with Frampton back) gives us a decent chance.

A great defence is little consolation if we can’t kick a winning score ourselves.

Why do we need to kick that many goals to win? Friday night was fast and dry, no?

Irregardless isn't a word.

I think we all want an Adams in for Lipinski.

I think I'd bring Noble in for McStay and play WHE forward. Not ideal but would encourage us to run and take the game on more.
umm yes, irregardless is certainly a word...

In relation to the changes, my preference is to bring Ginni into the 22 and have Noble as the sub. Unfortunately, I don't think Adams will get up in time. If by some miracle he does, Lipinski will certainly be feeling the heat, but he wasn't as bad as some make out.

Irregardless of selections, are we worried that we are versing the Lions?

Fear not! JDG will not only play just as well as he did last night but will kick a couple of goals too.

And Nick can add a couple of his own.

We don't need someone who is versatile. We need a forward and Billy looked completely at sea when they tried him there. Having been tried and struggled in a position, doesn't make you a versatile player for that position.
To support Brodie we have Cox Cameron Howe who can all be used fwd, and Frampton can be put in their positions, if he’s not doing enough fwd.
I don’t see any other player that gives Fly more flexibility.

AJ is the logical addition but is injured, Kreuger is not the solution.

I’d entertain the idea of using McCreery in a mostly defensive role on Coleman.

He was arguably bog against us last time and I could say the same tonight.
Very damaging and important player.

I highly doubt we see this as Fly(like most coaches) prefers to back in his system.

Don’t mind that for Beau. The only thing that makes me nervous about the system against Brisbane is that it hasn’t worked of late. Who guards the space behind the ball to ensure Cameron doesn’t get out the back. Would love the instruction to be IQ or Markov gets the job on Charlie and that’s his only focus, rather than guarding the space up the ground. Make sure he is always goal side of Charlie. All the other defenders can still play the team defence but Charlie always gets us out the back.

Because Brisbane’s forward line has the ability to be much more potent than GWS’s.

Except that GWS over the last 5 weeks has been a better scoring side than Brisbane (#1 and #2 in the comp over the period).
