And again I don’t see Lippa having Adams competitiveness/grunt to fill his role at stoppage. Therefore we need another solution if he misses.

Real bummer about Tay, two years in a row with soft tissue injuries impeding finals runs. Better a week out than a day out so we can finalise the team, but it sucks nonetheless.

Don’t think so (as far as I’ve seen), but can’t think of an instance where someone has clutched at their hammy like that and it’s been a 6 day recovery

From looking at the footage it looks like a corkie to me, It was an impact injury

I’ve seen the video a few times and it does look like a simple corkie,as Noble gets him high up on the leg.But then when you see how unhappy Adams looks when he goes off the field,it makes you think that it must be more than a simple corkie.

We've seen lots of players gutted from what looks like a serious injury, only for them to play the following week.

Perhaps, and hopefully, he was just so upset & emotional because he's so hungry for this premiership & to be a major part in every finals game and he always seems to get injured at this time of the year.

Ideally, scans come back, it's tightness only (or a corkie instead ) and worst case scenario he misses PF, but plays in the GF.

He did, and Moore has an even worse soft tissue history. I think I’m a bit pessimistic after his finals ended last year.

He’d make a handy sub come GF day if he’s underdone

Lippa did look good in match sim today, was involved in a lot of linking chains through the middle of the ground. Clean.

I think that’s been his main issue really…. Confidence….just a little fumbly collecting the ball and disposal being a bit rushed. Once he tidies that up (not a great leap) he will be back near his best. That’s if he gets selected…. Somebody has to make way for Daicos if adams gets up.

He also looks better closer to the footy in a more midfield role (if Adams is out). He’s less effective as a flanker than he is a wingman

I'm hoping that's why he was so emotional too, he may have just automatically been thinking the worst.. fearing any type of injury now could end his GF hopes.

The club are being extremely cagey for an impact injury… You can’t rule it out, but the lack of clarity isn’t a great sign, IMO.
