I'm totally with you on this Spinny. No way Lipinski can perform a similar role to Adams.Stop being precious - you’ve already been taken to task by others recently about your arrogance.
You chose to ignore the existence of the well known terminology “grunt”, and then say I have NFI for using it.
Please mate lift your game, no ones buying that rubbish.
And again I don’t see Lippa having Adams competitiveness/grunt to fill his role at stoppage. Therefore we need another solution if he misses.
Now if you can calm down, and be respectful I’m keen to hear your view.
This stuff is obvious but it seems it's gotta be said anyway..
Both "grunt" and "extractor" implies you are a bottom of the pack, in and under first hands-on player who never shirks at the physical contest. Its a role that is based around stoppages and pack contests. You win the ball at the coal face and feed it out to others. Lipinski is one of the players these guys feed it out to, not the other way round.
These players have to be prepared spend a lot of time on the ground wrestling with other players for the ball, especially in wet. The role requires an uncompromising and unflinching attack on the footy. That ain't Lipinski.
Lipinski is most definately NOT suited to that role and has never shown he can play that style of football. Kinda the opposite in fact.
Imagine a super high pressure, high stoppage game in the wet and we are relying on Lipinski to be one of our players burrowing into packs to extract the ball instead of Adams, against the likes of Cripps
