Lets get through the prelim, and then deal with if adams is right for a potential GF or not. One week at a time.

No.Poor bugger,
surely with his history he won’t be risked if we make the GF.
could macrea fill his spot?
Wouldn't think they'd throw him to the wolves this time of year. Any other game, probably. But I'd rather he focus on breaking into the team early next year.Poor bugger,

How come?
Ok, sounds like he’s not quite ready for it?Wouldn't think they'd throw him to the wolves this time of year. Any other game, probably. But I'd rather he focus on breaking into the team early next year.
Yes. Adams out. Nick in. It's pretty simple. How come?
do you think we could cover it from existing mids?
If he had played more games this year, maybe. But he's had limited exposure, so would be quite tough I reckon.Ok, sounds like he’s not quite ready for it?
Yup, pretty straight forward now at least.Look on the bright side it saves more selection heartbreak for the Prelim
He's not ready for a Prelim. Played one senior game this year against a team we were always going to smash. Laid some great tackles. He's not coming in for Adams.Ok, sounds like he’s not quite ready for it?
How do you know Jeff Brown won’t have something to say. You don’t hand to be a loud mouth to make a point. That one time when we need Eddie McGuire back. This wouldn’t happen on his watch.
Macrae’s played 2 quarters of senior footy all year, he doesn’t play the same role as Adams, with Naicos to return it means we need to find someone to drop, we have midfield cover for Adams within the 23 and Noble is going to be the next man in so we’d really need 3 changes to find room for Macrae (plus I’d prefer Allan anyway). How come?

27 daysHow long was Darcy out...?
Yeah, he's been a good choice. But there is always a component of luck to all decisions -- by definition, that's what a decision really is, a combination of skill, knowledge and luck.
From Memory he missed out last two games which were dead rubbers really and then we had the finals bye. Hard to know how long he would have been out tbh. He was also running usually means a higher grade27 days
And Fly had said he was probably right to go in the last game he missed, definitely would have played if that game was just a day later or a do or die match .. and then we had the bye which is included in the 27 days.27 days
No.If Tay is a declared out, that place is taken by Nick. Does Macrae come in as a possibility for sub? That would be tough on Ginnivan, but in finals the toughest of calls need to be made. Both Port and GWS have strong midfields
Cheers mate, sounds like the squad has the flexibility to cover his potential loss.Macrae’s played 2 quarters of senior footy all year, he doesn’t play the same role as Adams, with Naicos to return it means we need to find someone to drop, we have midfield cover for Adams within the 23 and Noble is going to be the next man in so we’d really need 3 changes to find room for Macrae (plus I’d prefer Allan anyway).
They mentioned if there was a game in the bye week, he would have played. From Memory he missed out last two games which were dead rubbers really and then we had the finals bye. Hard to know how long he would have been out tbh. He was also running usually means a higher grade
Fin in or as a sub over Ginni in a final? Nah. Not a chance. If Tay is a declared out, that place is taken by Nick. Does Macrae come in as a possibility for sub? That would be tough on Ginnivan, but in finals the toughest of calls need to be made. Both Port and GWS have strong midfields
