Maybe we shuffle the team a little. Mihocek to defence, Krueger in for Adams and Maynard/Elliot to rotate through the mid as his replacement.

Something isn’t right with Checkers.

I’m not sure if it’s a change role since AJ joined the team, but he’s just not taking marks or impacting the scoreboard.

Since AJs in the team - 6 games:

8 goals (1.33)
49 disposals (average 8.2)
12 marks (2)

Prior to AJ - 15 games

Average : 10 disposals, 2 goals & 5.53 marks.

Lost 20% of his possessions, 33% of his goals and 64% loss in marks.

Massive.
It’s got nothing to do with AJ, he’s carrying an injury

Since when did the Swans become world-beaters lol? They needed Buddy to flop around for 2 minutes to get back in the game.

The Swans couldn't hold a candle to that 2018 Richmond prelim side.

Since about round seven when they last lost to a top eight side. Swans have been flying under the radar all year.

Not sure why nobody is saying Macrae surely he gets put ahead of Carmichael and by God Bianco. Bianco is nowhere near it and Carmichael yes he has been good but Macrae has been our best by far coming through. Macrae was given just the one game against Carlton give him a couple games he will be fine.

The only outs will be those that are forced by injury. The cupboard is pretty empty.

Krueger for Adams and a reshuffle to boost midfield most likely involving Eliiott and the Daicos boys spending more time in the middle.

If AJ doesn’t get up, Henry is the obvious replacement.

If Checkers doesn’t get up, we’d have to seriously consider bringing in….. gulp…. Madgen, who kicked a lot of goals late in the VFL season. Let’s hope it really doesn’t come to that!

I thought WHE was good , could be wrong

I thought he was a lot more involved, which meant he did a bunch of good things (took marks, kicked that goal, tackled well) and a bunch of not-so-good-things (dropped sitters, missed tackles, that wild kick off the side of the boot). But he certainly wasn‘t the only one.

I agree, it’s good for him to be more involved.

Out: Adams, Mihocek (omitted)
In: Krueger, Henry, Carmichael (sub)

I know Mihocek won’t be dropped but he really needs to be. Been doing nothing for nearly a month and isn’t even doing the basics when he doesn’t have the ball

Really really strange to see him just be…a body out on the ground. If he’s carrying something then drop him because it’s clearly impeding his ability to do basically anything of value

Browns VFL form has been equally as good as McCrae’s, so he’s definitely in the mix.

Let’s give Magden a crack
Could be our secret weapon

Mihochek seems to be carrying a niggle

Kreuger and Cox up forward/Ruck

One week at a time, Buddy.

We were in the game against them a few weeks back without Adams or DeGoey. We’ll have DeGoey next time, so that’s as win. We’ll also need a few to have career-best games but why not?

Buddy. Champ. Mate. Just don't use the middle one because it's never meant in a nice way. The others at least imply the existence of the vaguest elements of friendship or amicability. I had forgotten we had actually played Fremantle within living memory, a period of time that gets briefer with the passing of the years, and one day, perhaps sooner than hoped, will refer to events that occurred only minutes before rather than days, weeks, months or years. Let's hope that memory doesn't sharply shrink too soon or I will forget that once we were buddies, and might even call you champ.
