Depends on how much faith they have in Noble imo

Noble will be out irrespective of Aish IMO.

Who do you think the three outs will be this week?

Wills, Madgen, Varcoe

Fair enough..........but I cant see Wills getting dropped against the team that only wins games if they win contested possession.

Aish is not the player we need this week IMO.

Although we have plenty still out this whole discussion (struggling to figure out who to drop) feels a lot better than last year (how the hell are we going to put a backline together)
Besides Langdon, Beams and Cox we pretty much have a full list to pick from. Quaynor/Dunn probably aren’t getting chosen if fit.
Much better situation than a few weeks ago

whomever goes out will be unlucky, but unfortunately just a selection headache. I don't see how you can take Varcoe out. Brown would be stiff but someone has to be unlucky. Thomas, not going anywhere.

Moore /Madgen
Stevo / Brown
Sidebottom .. Noble (Unlucky)
De Goey.. ? Wills needs to stay.

I would hate to be on the selection panel.

Remember Moore is already in the side!

2 out of Varcoe, Thomas, and Brown will have to make way for JDG and Stevo. Can't rob the midfield of resources to play JDG or Stevo as neither are very likely to get many midfield minutes. Similarly you don't want to end up with a team full of small forwards. :)

Wouldn’t Crisp be surplus to the midfield with Sidebottom returning and JDG likely to have some midfield rotations too? It makes Noble a likely out imo, even though he’d be stiff given he hasn’t done much wrong.
Aish would have to be a massive chance to replace Noble, Noble won't be playing IMO.

I hope Varcoe remains in the side. The crunching tackles he applies are just what are needed in finals and his run and link play into the attacking 50 is just exciting to say the least!
Couldn't agree more...plus you'd have to think the old dog would have abit extra in him against his old side...hate to say it,but brown goes out before trav...his day will come

So it IS possible there might be 4 or more changes -- remembering the Bulldogs in their premiership year brought in 6 players for the first final. Though many of them hadn't missed that much football. If I were picking the side, it'd be this:

Out/In

Brown -- Stephenson
Madgen -- Reid
Noble -- Sidebottom
Wills (super unlucky) -- DeGoey

If we beat Geelong the second bye is going to kill me. I can’t handle the current two weeks before our next game so I would be absolutely bat crazy by the end of another one.
