God this season has been dissapointing. We all need a win and someone to kick a bag to get excited about.

Daw could be your man to kick a bag if he gets a birth. His form was actually pretty good early in the year and he looked like he'd improved a bit this year.

I'm not sure Brad will get the flick, he'll have the get out of jail card with injuries to Dal, Swallow and Wells.
But I'm not convinced about him, if he keeps saying its the players fault for not following instructions, whey keep playing the same guys, have a look at Warren, Fordham, Mullett, Majak and see if they can do what you want.
McDonald deserved to be dropped and the fact is Dumont, Wood and Turner will probably have higher standards because of it down the line, whereas Ziebs and co. will coast along knowing they'll get a game every week.

I don't understand all the Ziebell haters. He's one of the more consistent guys in the team. Plenty of others that need a rocket before him.

I'm pretty sure it is, you have to name your emergencies within the squad of 25.

Also, I know Gibson is named in the starting 18 but I have seen starting 18 players dropped from the extended squad before (not that I think it will happen today, just a thought I had).

You still can, I think the club just sticks to 18 + four of seven from the extended bench.

Couldn't agree more on Ziebell. No doubt he could be more consistently damaging. But his effort is always exceptional, have never seen him not attack a contest when needed. While his tendency to wheel and kick is frustrating at times he is also under a substantial amount more pressure than some of his team mates when kicking.
