Did I watch another game? Hinge isn’t going out, he’s firmly best 22.
Wasn't his best game, had some appalling kicks today that we got away with once or twice but I doubt he gets dropped over it when last week he was one of our best. The positive with Hinge is he seems to be steadily involved in matches so far this year, last year he would bob up for a bit then be unsighted for ages.

McHenry way outplayed Murph today. If either have to play, surely we get them battling week to week for selection.

I predict neither go out.

Sure, but Murph has a big showdown performance in his pocket - seeing he was instrumental in allowing us to keep up with Port in the 2nd.

One is definitely gone, Pedlar has been too good this year for that not to happen.

Keays out for McAdam?

Tough call, but Keays misses up firward, without lowering the eyes annoys me a bit.

Was good otherwise though

I think McAdam is going to be the unlucky one to miss. I just can't see us making lots of changes to a side that won so well. Fogarty will come back in at Gollants expense, surely a KPD for Butts if he's injured. I think Pedlar gets back in though I'm not sure who they leave out? Murphy or McHenry the likely one though both will be stiff based off their time in the side.

Irritating week not to have a SANFL game.

Parnell, McAdam, Pedlar, Fog, Berry and Worell all potentially fit, at most two come in?

Anyone to come out unlucky.

Fogarty and Pedlar in for me, Gollant and McHenry out and keep Ned as the sub

Yeah, bit of a tough one.

You'd expect Fog and Pedlar to come back in, possibly McAdam, and Berry if he's recovered.

Outs are hard- Gollant kicked a couple, Jones was good, McHenry was involved. Thought Sholl was pretty anonymous, Murphy and Keays pretty meh, but can't see them dropping Keays.

And then the continuing Butts issue down back.

They aren’t easy selections when McHenry did play well today and Murphy had been good last 2 weeks. Might seem easy for us, but you’re dropping two guys who are very stiff and only missing because more talented guys are returning.
Ned and Murphy aren't taking the club anywhere. Both are shit. You can add Keays and Milera to that group as well if you want.

Fog for Gollant is the obvious one. Anyone else will be unlucky.
Murphy and McHenry had decent games and would be stiff to lose their spots.
A replacement for Butts may be needed but we aren't flush with KDP's

Geez you post some absolute tripe even after an outstanding game by the lads...

Not sure that we'll be making 3 changes to the forward line after the last two weeks.

I'd go McAdam for an unlucky Gollant.

And Pedlar in, Keays to Sub.

Fog gets one more week to make sure he's absolutely cherryripe. Then gives Tex a spell the week after.

Berry comes back in for Shoenberg.

You are satisfied with finishing bottom 6. Not all supporters are as easily satisfied as you. Freo aren't that good, enjoy getting carried away beating a team at home that will finish bottom 6.

Haven't heard any updates on Parnell. I hope his symptoms aren't lingering. He hit the ground bloody hard
Defender Patrick Parnell will miss a second consecutive game while in the AFL’s concussion protocol.

“He’s still got a couple of boxes to tick, the timing means he will miss this weekend’s game and come out of the protocols on Sunday and be available next week all going well,” Burgess said.

Awful set shot for goal, he obviously can kick straight but the moment gets to him mentally and he invariably chokes with the kick.

Interesting, reckon that will work in McAdams advantage, they won’t want him not playing any footy for a 4th week.

Out: Gollant, McHenry, Murphy, Butts inj
In: Fog, Pedlar, McAdam, Keane

Some very stiff to miss but those ins make our side so much stronger and we can’t afford not to play our strongest side.

First time in a while I think selection decisions are gonna be tough & there's probably likely to be a couple fairly unlucky players.
Good week with a short turnaround to manage players with niggles with all these returning players.

Having Murphy, Jones and McHenry come in and contribute well will make it a tough week for selection. We may actually have decent depth now.
Fog, Pedlar and McAdam definitely need to come back in though. I feel Gollant and Murphy may be the unlucky ones.

Ins:
Fog, Pedlar, McAdam

Out:
Gollant, Tex (rested), Murphy

Realistically I'm really happy with how we're tracking at the moment and the only real issue I have is with our senior players. Sloane and Smith have both been heart and soul players over their careers but their age is starting to show. Fumbles, misjudging disposals, arriving at contests slightly too late etc, Its the signs that time is well and truly catching up to them.
