May not playing is a big out, but if any one of our players determines whether we win or lose we have some other issues.

Need to sort out the forward line and maybe get Trac to show up to the game this week, Lever as well. Hopefully Petty can get through the game.

Hibberd Tomlinson Lever
Brayshaw Petty Salem
Jordon Viney Langdon
Spargo Fritsch Neal-Bullen
Bedford B.Brown Pickett
Gawn Oliver Petracca
Jackson Harmes Bowey Laurie

That's the outfit I'd go with. One fewer tall in the mix and a heap of pressure players at ground level.

Out: Hunt, Sparrow, M.Brown
In: Hibberd, Bedford, Laurie

Wouldn't be against bringing in Rivers for Bowey (give him a week's rest) given the amount of medium forwards the Pies have.

Backline is still good enough, as long as Petty can stay on the park and Lever can pull his ****en finger out.

Bloke has been shite for almost the entire year. Pies tall forwards aren't super dynamic but Darcy Cameron torched us last year and was probably BOG last week. Really need Petty up and about to combat him with his height.

Would love Hibberd back for some experience in a big game. Can play small and tall and looked pretty good at Casey. We've been missing his will to break lines and take the game on.

Also, we just need our team all over the park to up the pressure. It's way, way down. Out-tackled by like 20 against Swans is crazy and non-sustainable. They played out of their skins, but still. We need a response on Monday in this area.

So Petty has an AC joint injury - club saying he'll look to play but got to be a decent chance he won't.
Tmac 'lower-grade' Lisfranc. Write him off for a fair while.
May out this week again.

Silver lining here is our coaches should realise it's time to unleash a more attacking game. Trusting the system is fine but it would be very over-optimistic to bank on keeping Collingwood to 50-60 points to get a win.

Interested to see what our coaches come up with , because right now we are too predictable.
Idk, I didn't predict our players going the biff on each other. Clearly, throttling Jack Ginnivan was too obvious, so we're keeping them guessing :$

Yep, and the Pies have some big scalps this year so far. They are a Top 8 side for sure. And this was the game I was worried most about out of the 3 leading up to the bye! They just match up well on us and usually are more up for Queens Birthday than what we are. With all the BS going on this week with us I just can't see us winning this one. Going into the bye and then Lions game losing 3 in a row is pretty disastrous. Let hope the boys pull one out here. Need a Petracca, Gawn, Oliver special to win this one I reckon.

Reckon this is just about it. Except I'd probably have Sparrow ahead of Laurie

Probably deserved it…
Hard to know how it was said. Might have been banter that just hit a nerve. Don't love it though. Gawn has talked about how a big cultural shift at the club was how the players stopped tearing each other down like that.

Yeah I honestly dislike what May said much more than Melksham giving him one. Just a really campaigner thing to do.

Hopefully the catalyst for improvement. Melksham has been a good servant and I think gives his best every week. It appears he trains and prepares incredibly hard and he’ll be hurting still not being a premiership player.

Agree, pretty harsh banter for a teammate who's been around a while.
