He was never a small forward though. His best game for us was in the win v Adelaide in R7 when he played on ball. 16 contested possessions. That’s where he played almost all of his VFL too. Clearly too small to ever crack it as a midfielder on a consistent basis, but he never had the skill set to be a small forward. Definitely knew how to hunt the footy though.

He's not hugely different to Langdon, Langdon is playing in an era when wingers are more tank orientated rather than skill based.
