Both will get of if they challenge I think. Laird can reasonably argue his actions prevented head contact with the ground.

And Zorko will get off because it's the wrong charge and he clearly doesn't make contact with the 'eye region'. We're only two weeks from "you're honour I'm innocent of deliberately elbowing him with my right arm because I deliberately elbowed him with my left". Misconduct would have been better, it's much vaguer and covers general 'dog acts'.

Maybe the Lions will accept one week on the risk that the tribunal will heap more weeks on in the case of a guilty verdict

I’m all for a player getting suspended for a dangerous sling tackle that knocks out a player however there was nothing wrong with Laird’s tackle and Neale jumped straight back to his feet - how the **** is that medium impact ?

We are still have a young and emerging midfield so what do you expect when our 2nd best midfielder gets suspended? I would throw Rankine in there more this week.
