I don't think this is a case of anti-Crows bias. 20 players have been suspended for "dangerous tackles" so far this season, including a couple of others from the round just gone for very similar tackles. The problem is the AFL who are shit scared of the concussion litigation and are overreacting as well as Christian's incompetency.Club needs to stand up to the AFL on this one and call out the bias.
It's been reported on CH9 there's a chance we will be challenging as Neale clearly had an arm free, the AFL's argument will be how did Laird know this given the split second then our argument will be Laird felt his arm around Neale's stomach while taking seconds to take him to ground so it wasn't a split second.Club needs to stand up to the AFL on this one and call out the bias.
Christian has a clear bias against the club. It needs to be called out.I don't think this is a case of anti-Crows bias. 20 players have been suspended for "dangerous tackles" so far this season, including a couple of others from the round just gone for very similar tackles. Why would he?Christian has a clear bias against the club. It needs to be called out.
Can't believe a pretty standard tackle with no injury is the same as a deliberate attempt at an eye gouge. Non football incidents should be treated much more harshly. What a game we’re creating
Not away.We have played and beaten significantly better sides that Gold Coast this year.
I don’t think it’s his first time either, I know it’s old school but I think he would have come off second best some time ago GRUBCan't believe a pretty standard tackle with no injury is the same as a deliberate attempt at an eye gouge. Non football incidents should be treated much more harshly.
We need an accumulator/extractor and someone to sit on Rowell, having watched last week's match at TIO.Buggar, we are not going to get Laird off with this tribunal so resting Sloane can wait another week.
Ins: Hinge, Smith
Outs: Laird, Parnell
B: Michalanney, Butts, Murray
HB: Smith, Worrell, Milera
C: Jones, Dawson, Hinge
HF: Pedlar, Walker, Rachele
F: Thilthorpe, Fogarty, Rankine
R: O'Brien, Keays, Soligo
I: Doedee, Sloane, Sholl, McHenry
Sub: Murphy (managed)
We can rotate Soligo, Keays, Pedlar Rachele, Sloane (later in the game), Jones & McHenry all through the middle... with Dawson a mainstay.
No need for Crouch.
Berry ?If Laird is rubbed out don’t be surprised if crouch is brought in. Like for like. The coaches have stated the two cannot play on the same team

A possibility eagle boy but I think the selectors see crouch as the next soldier inBerry ?
You might not ucant but that is not the view of the coaching group. Listen to the coaches chats to SEN etc and you will not be surprised on Thursday nightHope not
I don’t see them as a like for like
Crouch has major deficiencies in his game, it’s not suited to our game style, he has also struggled since the 6-6-6 rule was introduced
We need to put a line through crouch

Contesting the ball has the potential to cause injury."Potential to cause injury"
I said last year that blokes would be suspended for doing next to nothing soon, using this clause. A lot of people said I was overreacting.
Our coaches need to grow a pair and not pick Crouch.
The senior players love him. Clearly he's pretty popular. Even Seedsman was chipping in with pro-Crouch comments the other day. There'll be a push from within to bring Crouch in.
The coaches know it's the wrong move. Bring in Hinge and crank up the midfield time for Pedlar, Rachele and Soligo.
The coaches have to decide whether to go for team harmony (among the seniors anyway) or whether to do the right thing by the team.
I actually have faith the coaches won't pick him.
Just doing the bolded without "replacing" Laird would be woefully inadequate against the GC midfield. As I said above, we need an accumulator/extractor and someone to sit on Rowell. I won't champion any accumulator/extractor, but I assume Keays will run with Rowell. Our coaches need to grow a pair and not pick Crouch.
