Lonners is a fair way off, but unlike Charlie he can play in a key defensive position.

SJ injured again. Damn frustrating. Harley named as an emergency makes me think he may be a late inclusion. Lonner's looked all at sea down back last week and would struggle @ CHB. H need's to stay @ CHF.

Bringing in both Gardiner & Mackie (both forwards) could it mean that there's a doubt on Chappie?

I'm with you on this one, abit of a head-scratcher it is.

We've effectively lost 2 key backman and brought in two more forwards going into a match where the opposition can potentially have 3 of Pavlich, J-Lo, or McPharlin at any one time.

I'm expecting a late change, but if Bomber's trying to play mindgames, they're admittedly pretty poor. Unless we have some inside sources keeping track on the weather for Saturday's game, I'm struggling to understand how we'll match up.

I know Chris Connolly is slow, but even he would realise Tom Harley is an emergency.

Surely we're not trying to play funny buggers with a late change. If so, it'd be almost as obvious as the nose on Matthew Pavlich's face.

Noticed amonst Freo's numerous changes there was one Ryley Dunn included in the team.

Hope he can put on a show for Bomber and crew. Should make snaring him in the offseason a priority.

Harley will have been named as an emergency ofr one of two reasons, the Pavlich's nose option of being a late inclusion or that he is in fact a non-starter through injury but Thompson wants to give Connelly the willies by suggesting that he may start

Scarlett will take the Pav to start, Ling to go there if he creates havoc. Rooke on Mcpharlin. T-Lo is the concern.
