Lets agree to disagree there. But just so we're clear.. I think Blair has been decent this year (mainly first half) but picking on a young first year guy in Crisp as a comparison doesn't work for me. Blair's been around a long time now. I would've hoped for better output from him now he's in his "peak".
Blair has bern ok this year overall, esp like quite a few better earlier.
His tackles etc areterrific, his rat cunning same. But i just feel hes getting past hos optimum and suspect others will passhim buy when we take the next steps. But hes got heaps out of himself

Not off but I don't think he is an answer as midfield stayer going forward. In fact, how many poor ball users can we carry in one side? Him touching it 20+ times and turning it over is not good for anyone. He does have size but he isn't clean enough when ball is in dispute to be a full time mid/centre square player.

Perhaps trying him off half back is a better option because at the moment he soaks up too many midfield minutes without enough quality with his numbers.
What games have you been watching? Crisp is generally a beautiful field kick and one of our best extractors at centre bounces. Maybe he has tired in the last few weeks - understandable!

Blair is too small to impact as a midfielder in today's game, isn't very quick, doesn't win enough ball, has tackles constantly broken and can't kick over a jam jar.
