Is it? Name me one profitable female league in Australia?

As far as I'm aware every female competition is amateurs or relies on government subsidies to keep its head above water.
Profitable was never mentioned

Or he couldnt be arsed hanging around doing the hard yards

declaring the task to turn their fortunes around would be too “significant and time-consuming”

Vicinity CEO and Adelaide 36ers owner Grant Kelley said he wouldn’t progress his interest in joining the Crows board, warning the next chair would be taking on a long-term role in steering the bottom-placed club back to success.

“My analysis, and my concern in taking on the role, is not based on what’s happening off the field but based on what’s happening on the field – which tells me the turnaround of the club will be significant and very time-consuming for whichever individual takes on the role,” he told InDaily.

His comment is contradictory to me. 'The club exists to win premierships not to serve corporate interests ' Seems we are pretty good at the corporate interest side with Chapman et al to the detriment of the football club/on field side. My gues is he saw the board as the turnaround problem.

Who is the most powerful/influential person at the AFC? Chapman or Roo ? Have we become incompetent rudderless at the FOOTBALL department? Many of the senior players are showing on field just how sapped of beleif and purpose we have become. Out Chapman.

That extends to the fact a chunk of our AFLW members either do not follow the men's team, or follow a different men's AFL team (though that has diminished with expansion).

Don't forget Fagan. Sits on list management and football strategy committees and has a vote at the board table. And then involves himself with the day to day decisions. He's as influential as anyone at the club.

I see Essendon can actually have a successful succession plan for their Chairman.
How hard can it be

"Essendon have chosen influential board member and former PwC chairman Paul Brasher as the club's next president, with Lindsay Tanner handing over the reins later this year."

This is a man with NO prior AFL experience sitting on football strategy and list management as well.

From inDaily;

... With no accountability at executive/management level for any of these massive blunders.
My favourite quotes from that article:

In the pioneer decade (1991-2000) when chairman Bob Hammond and chief executive Bill Sanders built a successful club that repeatedly was tagged as the “Chardonnay set” and lacking a “heart and soul”, the Crows won two flags. The lowest finish was 13th of 16 in 1999 when the burnout of the back-to-back premiership seasons left a heavy toll on all at West Lakes.

In the second decade (2001-2010) – always to be remembered for Neil Craig setting up a strong football base – Adelaide missed the finals just twice and should have won a flag in either 2005 or 2006. The Crows did not advance beyond preliminary finals, however.

In the past decade (2011 onwards), Adelaide has missed finals five times; sacked two coaches, Pyke and Brenton Sanderson, while on long-term contracts; lost significant players such as eventual Brownlow Medallist Patrick Dangerfield and endured scandals from the Kurt Tippett salary cap breach to the infamous Gold Coast camp.

and

“We have made mistakes,” said Chapman, chairman since 2009.

Are we connecting the dots yet, people?

Rucci's story in the Indaily magazine is interesting

It's really not hard & in fact the competent thing to do... if you are doing the right thing by the organisation.

If you have no intention of leaving, it becomes problematic...

Rucci's story in the Indaily magazine is interesting

"Stewart appears to have fallen out of favour after he had recommended during the 2016 season that the Crows accept a lucrative offer on draft picks from Brisbane for key forward-ruckman Josh Jenkins. Instead, Adelaide not only re-contracted Jenkins but offered him a five-year deal rather than the four he was aiming to secure from the Crows."

Lindsay Tanner, Paul Brasher or Rob Chapman, there seems a huge gap in capabilities between our Chairman and both Essendons former and new President

At whose behest is the information I'd like to know?

Adelaide’s list management is a major agenda item at West Lakes. But so too is the future leadership of the club from the board room and the front office. This will be the focus of part three of the InDaily review of the Adelaide Football Club.

Wait.. he wanted four and we Gave him FIVE?!

Wtf?

That’s not even taking into account the incredible blunder of not trading!

FFS I am Glad BF does not run the Crows,
Crows Need Balance and Winners Not Wingers and Losers
And remember winners come in all shapes and sizes and Yes that mean females
The problem in the past they have had some good financial winners but in the football-related areas the club has come up short.
Those guys needed replacing Some have been but there a couple more that should follow, But you don't burn down the house to remove a few rats that is pure stupidy, and that is what you perennial cellar-dwellers constantly do,

It is interesting that the people with previous AFL and Football experience are at the forefront in creating all of the problems in the Crows yet some want to replace the non football people with more of them.

Balance and winners that's what we need not wingers and losers.
I want winners to assist in running the Club whether they have previous AFL experience or don't

That was my reaction at the time, yet people were celebrating it as a huge win.

From my sources they also offered to swap him for Rockliff. A move that would have strengthened our weakest area at the time and only a small hit to our strong arae, the forward line.

I don't give a shit if they're "winners". what a nebulous term that means absolutely noting.

I want highly competent people running the club.

Not to mention Roo has done plenty of whinging himself over the last 12 months.

Do you have the faintest idea what you're actually trying to say? You want people replaced, but only the non-winners and you seem to think that everyone else wants to replace only the winners with non-winners and keep the existing non-winners. Maybe take a breath and re-post something remotely sensible.
