Absolutely. Travis Cloke was a star, and he was Collingwood through and through.

I will never forget when he played against us for the first time as a Western Bull Dog.

We lost the game.

Yet he was tear stricken when the cameras panned through the Bulldog rooms after the game.

Travis Cloke was a brilliant player. With the psychological developments of today (Jacqui Louder, etc) there is no doubt in my mind that he could have overcome his lack of confidence close to goal.

Bucks unfortunately prevented us from drawing from Trav everything of which he was capable in his final years.
Trav was traded because we wanted him to become a forward / ruck.

Terrible decision by Bucks.

I said almost immediately post draft I loved this pick, and also said i hope he puts some knees in backs and makes our back six uncomfortable. Well that match sim where they played horizontal with less space he looked like he kicked a few snags, dominated moore 1v1 at least once.

I wouldn't be opposed to the club splashing some cash and getting Fevola/Dermie/Lloyd or other former gun key forwards in once a week to pass on some forward craft knowledge. Looking forward to getting down to my local oval Vic park for some vfl games this year hopefully. All though i went yesterday and it is struggling a bit due to being a full time dog park right now, so frustrating watching some morons untrained mutts shit and dig it up everywhere. Some spots are absolutely cooked.

My local ground too, and last time I was there, I noticed there too. Very patchy.

100%. Leading patterns, creating space etc. It takes years to learn all this at the top level and any help from the greats would be hugely beneficial

The greats had it all, but in Membrey, Checkers, McStay and Elliott I think we've got 4 blokes with a lot of craft to pass on.

Reckon having Membrey in will help and Checkers too.
Some good and different types of players who can pass on some craft tips
