IMO I think Tasmania are at least 10 to 15 years away from getting a team

And with his mum from Adelaide, we could assume he have close family in the city to help him settle even quicker.

Surely the AFL doesn’t force players to move clubs, especially mid contract (even though they’re from that state)

If we instill our culture into Jones enough he’ll want to stay. Anyway, he’s from Launceston, and the team will likely be based in Hobart

AFL won't expand until GC and GWS are standing on their own and that's at least 10 years away.
