Hi guys you are all too young for me, but just enjoy reading what you have to say. What an unbelievable year it has been. Not sure if any of you are in the Cheer squad but I have been in the squad for 10 years the first 8 years I was active on the committee. Hubby and I purchased seats in the new stand and travel regularly interstate. Had a fantastic time in Brisbane and boy we enjoyed those Adelaide trips this year.
Through our interstate trips have cat contacts in all states.
I followed all your triumphs and despairs in getting tickets and was rapped to see quite a few of you managed somehow to get tickets.
What a game and what a year. Geelong may have become a little quieter but I can assure you alot of us are still celebrating one way or another.

Pfft that's only the pathetic Victorians. WA has been the best supported team for years. We got 14,000 to a WA v NSW one day match in January a couple of years ago.

hi y'all... hope i'm not butting in, but thought i'd introduce myself as i'm a BF newbie...

i work in melbourne as an economist, and live on the lovely mornington peninsula ... but originally from brisbane (hence the name "straycat"). as a lifelong Cats supporter Qld, i can definitely vouch for how Gold Coast Cat feels sometimes about being in the "wilderness", so to speak. though i used to love going to see the Cats play at Carrara, repeatedly the bad news Bears a good spanking!!

i'm wondering does anyone know when 2008 memberships are available (presumably sometime in the new year?)?

Thanks have been around a while,Sue and I go back along way. A lot of the guys on the board were very supportive in some troubles times I had.
But like all good Geelong supporters we stick together.

It's a great crowd when you consider it's the 2nd tier of the sport. It's like getting 14,000 to a VFL match with no AFL afterwards.

Hey dude!! That's a massive move! Hope the cold isn't too much for ya..

As for memberships, I know renewals will be sent out soon and must be in by the first week of December. New members? Not too sure, sorry...
