They won't. Club is trying to change public perception and "draw a line" as your supporters put it.Oh wow, that is something new. How will they cope?

If you say so.Prepare to get mad.
Slightly worse pick?
Try a 3rd round pick. That'd be about pick 37 for you guys.
Except that the owner of the Cafe doesn't risk ending up without his coffee machine, or having to make his coffee using a broken machine for the next 12 monthsThe REAL bottom line is you have to pay what we ask or leave. When I go to a coffee shop and ask for a flat white and don't like the price, I don't cry and scream like a lil bitch, I move on to the next shop.
Pay up or move on.
Agree, tell him it is pick 19 today, pick 31 tomorrow, or we go to the draft with more first rounders than they have.the only ones being washed up on the rocks is the carlton football club, wow how bad a place must it be to want to sit out a year rather than go back haha...
If I were the tiges I would give sos until 5pm today to accept pick 19 or walk away. He is wasting everyone's time now.
Maybe he is trying to make up for the draft picks and fine he cost you all those years ago?
So who is this player you want @19?Yarran isn't a need, plenty of developing talent and a mostly cemented starting 22
19 is worth more to Carlton, and you think that will be a no name
I on the other hand know who will be there around that pick and he's talent so will be quite happy to keep pick 19
Oh, please. The Aish comparison is laughable. Thanks for the lol.
Did you work you tail off did you? hahaha. Sure.... you want him, you gotta work for him.

No, you're wasting time. We have set the price and you're haggling like cheapskate in a Thai flea market.the only ones being washed up on the rocks is the carlton football club, wow how bad a place must it be to want to sit out a year rather than go back haha...

Do it. And then the spooners can go to the draft with less first rounders than the tigers. If you say so.
Better to set a precedent that players cannot just walk out and go where ever they want at any price. We have to stand strong, like Port did over Stevens.
So strong.
But that doesn't really concern you, does it? I'm sure the coffee machine will be fine, but thanks for your concern.Except that the owner of the Cafe doesn't risk ending up without his coffee machine, or having to make his coffee using a broken machine for the next 12 months

Really you are going to overpay him in his 2017 contract to make up for 400K lost? thats a fair chunk of a contract to add on....I'm confused, a Tiger supporter giving him 400k?
That's not what I said, what I said was, he'd be rewarded down the track in one of his playing contracts with Richmond, if he did have to take that extreme method of getting to the club.
Sure, players will get a message not to walk out on Carlton. If you say so.

#sostrong
For Richmond, trading two second-rounders for an early second-rounder is actually a significant downgrade in pick quality if measured using the AFL's draft points system. So if Richmond can't work a trade for 19 they've actually managed to go backwards in the draft without picking up Yarran.
What do you mean will? Think that's happening now..Sure, players will get a message not to walk out on Carlton.
The stronger message is that players will not want to go to Carlton.
From The Age:
ROFL.
On the contrary, players WANT to go to strong clubs. We will become a strong club with a strong attitude.Sure, players will get a message not to walk out on Carlton.

There's "standing strong", and being "needlessly stubborn"
Huge difference.
Flawed analogy is flawed. Yours ignores the risk to your own club. You would cut off your nose to spite your face. Clubs have generally become more pragmatic about this stuff in recent years. But that doesn't really concern you, does it? I'm sure the coffee machine will be fine, but thanks for your concern.
Aish never chose US. We did due diligence and that was it.Still waiting mate, how is the blues approaching Aish different from the tigers approaching Yarran mid year, outside Aish rejecting you ?
Thats how trades work, bud,No, you're wasting time. We have set the price and you're haggling like cheapskate in a Thai flea market.
I heard that when Malthouse turned up.On the contrary, players WANT to go to strong clubs. We will become a strong club with a strong attitude.
So you can approach players mid year? You just cant have them pick you? Thats uuuhhh...some great logic.Aish never chose US. We did due diligence and that was it.
Look at all the exers excelling at their new clubs. We have been too generous in the past and that is what is hurting us. No more!Flawed analogy is flawed. Yours ignores the risk to your own club. I hope Carlton does stand its ground and that the trade doesn't occur.
