Oliver is an elite accumulator but he has minimal impact. I'd prefer to keep him and his stupid haircuts, but I wouldn't be sad to see him leave.
Further proof that you have absolutely no idea about football.

Oliver is orchestrating a trade to get out. I hope Dimma doesn't stifle his development like Goodwin did.

How has Goodwin stifled Oliver's development?

He's had the service of a top 2 ruckman his whole career, and has been allowed to play full-time on the ball pretty much since day one. He's coming off arguably the best individual season of his career too.

My point was the tiges probably have more cap space than the blues. Rance money and other factors vs Saad. Williams. And other factors.

Carlton also has about 65 handy young players they would be looking to tie up on long term. Before too long?
Nope the only players left for carlton than arent on long term signings are Cripps/Mckay/SPS/Obrien/Kemp...cripps and mckay out of contract next year so as long as those 2 are resigned kemp hasnt played a game, SPS and Obrien could fall out without me being concerned. If we got in Oliver im sure we would offload players like kennedy/sos/dow/obrien etc to other clubs like essendon/crows/north if we had to to make space ($ + picks) for oliver if theres any truth to him apparently informing carlton he wants to be a blue next year

Fair enough,
Played 20, 22 and 11 out of 17 this year
Like no other Carlton players do drugs lol?
Doesn’t come stop him getting the ball
pretty sure the majority of our list would be scared of their mums reaction if any of them were caught doing drugs, the list is full of choir boys

Again, 11 and 8-12 next year is laughable, and as for one your "early draft kids (Dow, SPS, LOB, Philp, Stocker)", we wouldn't even want ALL of them.

How would his value be massively lowered? This is where you're really starting starting to struggle. Melbourne's bargaining position might be slightly weakened, but his value massively lowered, just no.
Geez you put a high price on oliver, cripps would probably only fetch you 2x top 10 picks and you expect more than that for oliver :grimacing:
