I have also become privy to some news on the membership front, in that we will definitely be on 25k by the start of April. This is information that only I, RB, the board, shareholders and sponsors are aware of, until now. It's going to be a good year, starting with the round one victory against Essendon in front of 49,632 fans, to the tune of 38 points.

Anyway i was only being optismistic and taking a punt at that 20 by mid week only because we have the intra club and we have 2 days before it.

The club may still be processing memberships from December so that adds on.

It's confusing, it is, isn't it?

People are also confused by 'I' and 'me'. One of my colleagues signs off his letters with "please contact myself".

I'm OK on its and it is (it's) but not too good (read bad) on who and whom.

Yes, I heard Andrew Maher trip himself up on SEN this morning. He was attacking Ron Walker over declining attendance at the Grand Prix and he said that last year approximately 40,000 'fewer' people attended. Quickly realising that statement might not be 'proper English', he changed it to 40,000 'lesser people' making it sound like they were letting anybody in last year.

I assume he should have settled for 'less'.
