I wonder what Nick Daicos would have had to do to get his mark up from 8.5? Cure cancer in his spare time?

Contrast Bucks when Tom Mitchell got about 100 disposals, "He didn't really hurt us today".I liked the comments from Hinkley at the end of the “Cornes-Francis” video posted a few up above.
“I think Nick won”
“He got us bad, today”
Contrast Bucks when Tom Mitchell got about 100 disposals, "He didn't really hurt us today".
The first 10 mins of On The Couch last night were all about Collingwood in 2023, and there were some really interesting stats and quality analysis provided.
But did he "thicken the soup"?Contrast Bucks when Tom Mitchell got about 100 disposals, "He didn't really hurt us today".
This might sound like heresy, and I love the man, but I’m finding Bucks very difficult to listen to this season. He is so analytical, so heavy on data and stats, and so bloody knowledgeable about footy that I’m starting to tune out. My eyes keep glazing over. Also think this might be a glimpse into how he communicated as a coach. He’s very intense and heavy going!Bucks - "Tom Mitchell thickens the soup" - OK thank God we have Fjy now
There’s just something about that metaphor that makes me feel sick. But did he "thicken the soup"?
Spare time? I reckon Nick will do it on field one day he’s that goodI wonder what Nick Daicos would have had to do to get his mark up from 8.5? Cure cancer in his spare time?
Quite so - extremely heavy goingThis might sound like heresy, and I love the man, but I’m finding Bucks very difficult to listen to this season. Yeah agree. That Port game commentary was dull as if it was a funeral. Hope Fox can get some lively commentatorsThis might sound like heresy, and I love the man, but I’m finding Bucks very difficult to listen to this season. They have. Dwayne. He’s the opposite end of the scale though. Would blow a gasket commentating chessYeah agree. That Port game commentary was dull as if it was a funeral. Hope Fox can get some lively commentators

I agree - there's information overload from Bucks. More than once I thought "what's he on about?" after some impenetrable analysis. This might sound like heresy, and I love the man, but I’m finding Bucks very difficult to listen to this season. I know what you mean.He speaks in that droning monotone voice, and he talks very slowwwwly. It takes him quite a while to make a point while the play is going on.No wonder your eyes glaze over when he’s commentating.Still love him as a player though. He is a Collingwood legend after all. This might sound like heresy, and I love the man, but I’m finding Bucks very difficult to listen to this season. Why Fox dont get Whateley to call games is crazy. **** SENI agree - there's information overload from Bucks. More than once I thought "what's he on about?" after some impenetrable analysis.
Sure he knows a lot, but it makes his commentary as dry as the Sahara.
BT is at the opposite end of the spectrum, blathering on to add as much "colour" as possible.
Bring back Dennis Cometti.
But did he "thicken the soup"?
No they didn't. I remember the SOS campaign around 1990. They were getting low crowds only 8 years after a flag and losing GF. We rattled cans and their was an ad pleading for donations to save their skin.Tiges fans cop a bum rap in this regard. They always made their presence known even when they were the laughing stock of the AFL.
So how long before the boys run with "Cornstarch" for TitchI must be Robinson Crusoe here because I didn’t mind that analogy when it comes to Mitchell’s impact. He’s won us clearances but also made us harder to win clearances against. Our midfield soup was runny last year.
Watching 'on the couch' and their exploration of our midfield setup was enlightening - there is a plan there in place to keep Nick free with rotations between 5 mid/halfback/wing and the rotational players are just half a level down from Nick.I must be Robinson Crusoe here because I didn’t mind that analogy when it comes to Mitchell’s impact. He’s won us clearances but also made us harder to win clearances against. Our midfield soup was runny last year.

The HUN print shit to get people to complain.I wonder what Nick Daicos would have had to do to get his mark up from 8.5? Cure cancer in his spare time?
I loved Bruce. Anthony Hudson is another I enjoy.I agree - there's information overload from Bucks. More than once I thought "what's he on about?" after some impenetrable analysis.
