We lost 3 in the final 16 games without Grundy

So yes. We would have performed worse with Grundy.

Depends on whether we are playing his salary or not. If we pay as reported 300k, then should be two first rounders for the best player at 700k. If not then a maybe a second rounder?

Squeezing out some cash is going to be necessary. Letting go a slightly bigger version, 19 year old that will be your in your top 12 (that’s why you pick him with your first) to keep WHE is nuts. Henry stays. We find a way.

I haven’t factored losing Grundy.
If he goes that opens up more cash and picks.
Surely he brings a first rounder (from Freo).
So, we have 2 first rounders, a second rounder from GC, 2 third rounders (the 4th gets used on Carmichael).

If that happens…
Third rounders for Hill and Frampton (with a pick back) and we use our second (for Mitchell and a pick back),

We go to the draft with 2 first rounders and scraps at the end. Priority is to get the two best natural forwards.
