Short term yes… but he was chewing up too much salary cap for a one way runner with questionable skills.

How were his skill vs us earlier in the season?

Treloar has his flaws like defensive running but overall he is a quality footballer and imo worth 600k in today's cap. Really that is not that much these days.

He was on 600- 700k a year and had 3 years too go..

He's a lazy one way mid, looks terrific running forward, but is never back to help out. Theres a reason Bevo put him half back.

I agree he was defensively lazy, was an issue I raised when he was with us.

I'm somewhat accepting of that if your attacking game is strong, I think the double hammie hurt him here on return.
But and I haven't watched all his games this year he looks to be playing good footy, excellent vs us which imo was a gun level output game.

600 to 700k for a gun attacking mid is about right really.

I would keep him over C.Brown, T.Brown, Bianco, WHE, Wilson. There's well over 600k combined there.

He’ll be 30 at the start of next year. He could coke over as a cheap KPD.

He’s had a few good seasons as a KPD.

Holy moley! He has to play up the ground to fit in Daniher and Hipwood as a glorified decoy. You might as well post you don't understand the game and how it works. The magoo key forwards were Madge and Glover so you must be really digging that set up?
