It’s not about being a Fin fan
I can. See why he struggles and why he may not make it.
I’m not advocating for him to be in the side or anything like that.

I’m just pointing out a guy like Peatling is very limited in how he plays and is barely better than Macrae…and if he is, it’s not saying much.
Yet others want to have me believe a 10 touch game is some kind of marvel to be hold.
I would still take Peatling over Fin in a heartbeat.

I miss the smock. Hoping he comes back as someone else soon.

Now you’re comparing Charlie Cameron who has been one of the elite small forwards to ever play the game …

Faaaaark meeeee….

You play half forward you’re basically a midfielder in the modern game the way things are today.

So he wasn’t.poor and he is not a midfielder either—-“neither of those” to use your words.
please don’t let me stop you and your jerk off…carry on.

You’re the guy saying he was poor yet his performance was on par with “one of the elite small forwards to ever play the game”. Your words.

Your comprehension is just really poor isn’t it, so poor you just need to make up shit. I said you said he was playing as a midfielder. Fact: he wasn’t.

I’ll leave it there, you’re not worth the effort.

He attended 11 centre bounces ….
Yeah you’re right he didn’t spend any time on ball….that’s a sign of a guy stuck inside 50.

I’m officially dumber now hearing Peatling on par to Charlie.

Yes, I think he could make our forward line better. I don’t care whether we get him or not. However we are not going to win a premiership with our list. The list that won in 2023. What is interesting is the double standards of the media. Could Stringer be fitter? Absolutely, can he be inconsistent? Without a doubt, but don’t downplay his season whilst upbuilding other’s who did not have a good a year as Stringer. Here are the comparable statistics of some players that played the HF/ 3rd forward

Jake Stringer 23 games; 42 goals; 58T; 28 TI50; 74 I50; 13 GA’s; 124 SI’s; 76% GT
Darcy Fogarty 23 games; 42 goals; 35T; 15 TI50; 49 I50; 15 GA’s; 132 SI’s: 86% GT
Kai Lohman 25 games; 31 goals; 73T; 29 TI50; 50 I50; 9 GA’s; 127 SI’s; 73% GT
Matt Kennedy 24 games; 16 goals; 81T; 15 TI50; 80 I50; 8 GA’s; 120 SI’s; 71% GT

Apart from Stringers early off field issues while at WB.
What has he done since to convince people he is an ongoing off field risk, and therefore should not be recruited?
Woo Hoo. We've got Spinny onboard.

It's Stringer time:

Bombers don't share their goals around like we do. They don't play a game style like us. To assume he's going to just step into our team, play our style & kick 40+ is a bit silly, imo.

You want him. I don't. Can we leave it at that?

Langford 43
Stringer 42
Gresham 19
Wright 19
Jones 18
Guifle 15

Good work. Deep down everyone is Stringer curious. Let's unite this club by badgering all these skeptics to get onboard the Stringer Express. We've got Spinny onboard. He knows what to do.

What kind of stupidity suggests the stats from one game is proof someone is not worth a contract. I'm sure our football department do more than look at the AFL app of a players last game before determining whether they want to recruit them.

Same reason a player is dropped for a GF Replay , they arent up to high pressure football. Not a defining factor , but another performance in a final like that and it becomes worth weighing up their worth on a list

However we are not going to win a premiership with our list. The list that won in 2023.

This might sound weird coming from me, but not sure I agree on this

If this year has shown me/us anything, it's that there isn't really a standout team (let alone multiple teams) like there is most years.

I think with a better injury run and more players having better years than they did in 2024 and I think even this exact list could still win the flag in 2025. Some better match day coaching/team selection/use of the sub wouldn't go astray either

There was that issue where he couldn’t put km’s into his legs because no one had ever taught him how to go for a jog around the block

I’ve already asked you who he was playing on when Zorko was moved off him because he was nullifying him and what was their impact from that point on but you’ve failed to answer because you’ve got no idea, instead blaming him for Zorko’s 2nd half goals when he wasn’t his opponent.

You’re also the only one singling out Cameron as a comparison when I specifically only compared Peatling’s disposal numbers to all the small-medium forwards output for the game.

You’ve clearly got no idea and keep shifting the goal posts for some semblance of relevance in your opinion.
