Just read that Carlton are trying to get Ben Lennon in the PSD draft at 1. So from what I have read or heard Carlton will be

Taking Lennon at 1 in PSD
Taking Aish at 1 in the PSD
Taking Treloar at 1 in the PSD

How many number 1s do they have in the PSD?

How about those muppets try and trade like the rest of the competition instead of expecting everything for free

I like it but we'd need to make sure Adelaide aren't interested with either 9 or 13.

That couldn't be possible. Although we did so pretty nicely with Dawes and wellers a few years back.

My speculative guess is: Treloar deal done tomorrow as well as Seedsman to Gold Coast. And then a mad rush Friday and into next week to see if we can land Howe and/or Aish, or even move up the draft order to have a crack at Weiderman.

Is it possible that we want to get the Aish deal done straight after Treloar because we will be trying to bag up our 2nd rounders for a teams 1st rounder (possibly Sydney) towards the end of the period. I say we would want to do the Aish deal 1st because i believe if we got the 1st rounder 1st Brisbane would try to go after that

Why do posters think Seedsman isn't worth a late 1st round in a poxy draft? If it was a strong draft it might be another story but it's totally reasonable. Honestly, if a player isn't right at the end of some posters noses, they forget anything they ever liked about a player. Up like a rocket and down like a stick.

I'd be looking at Bay Pie 's idea of talking to GC about swapping 7, Seedsman and maybe 3rd round for pick 3 if GWS remain intractable and greedy. Carlton will take Weitering at 1 and Brisbane will take Schache at 2. We can take Treloar at 3 in the ND.

Then flog off our other second rounds for Sydney's first pick.

Yep if they would do it and Seedsman picks GC then that is plausible. We actually have to wait in some ways to see where Seedsman wants to go. Once he makes that call a lot of things can fall into place. And look if Carlton did take Treloar we end up with Weitering or Schache.

Could become a genuine auction if he's willing to play for more than one of the teams supposedly pursuing him. Looking good to get overs for him, which offsets the Freeman pain. Speaking of Freeman, everything seems to have gone very, very quiet. Perhaps Saints getting cold feet?
