We need Treloar and Aish. They be in best 10 Players
After seeing our forward line struggle again why are people still want to recruit more midfielders.

Keep our first round pick, and draft Weideman or the best key position forward available.

Treloar is a very good player but he is a luxury not a necessity. We badly need another key forward.

Our forward line is not personnel, its the gameplan.

Agree. Our forwards are not without talent. Cloke, Elliot, Fasolo etc, they just get constantly outnumbered.
Fasolo has no talent. I can kick a footy reasonably well too.

That would be because we consistently bring the ball in slowly via a string of cheap short / sideways / backwards kicks, which allows the opposition to zone off us and flood our forward line. That is if we get far enough down the ground to actually bring it into F50 before we turn it over.

Opposition teams aren't really afraid of having to defend against us nowadays - the only "worry" is that it might turn into a scrappy crash-and-bash affair in which anything might happen, but opposition coaches know that if they maintain possession of the ball and don't turn it over then they will generally be able to get us on the scoreboard (often with a few cheapies out the back).

So tell us, what we need, oh wise one

I think it was a fair enough discussion of why trading for or drafting more KPF's isn't necessarily the tincture to cure our ailments at the current point in time personally (we have a decent group of tall and small forwards, we just can't get the ball to them quickly and to their advantage often enough for them to apply a bit of scoreboard pressure regularly).

I think if anything one thing that today's debacle highlights is that we may very well be a bit short on quality KPD's, so perhaps that's more an area of need going forward - take out one of the only two we have going around at the moment and we got ripped to shreds.

The talent in the forward line is not the issue. The issue is the way the ball is coming into the foward 50. We are one of the worst disposal teams in the comp. The haphazard game plan doesn't help. If anything we need a new game plan and better users of the ball that can hit a target of 20-30 metres away. Treloar and Aish can do that.

Yep as easy as that, you should be at Hawthorn .... FMD, you actually think you know more than Buckley

LOL how about you attack my opinion with your own, instead of regurgitate old lines. This is a forum where we discuss our opinions. If you don't have any don't bother posting.

Because the delivery to our forwards is absolute ****ing dogshit?

Seriously, our forward line is the strongest it's been for ages, but if the players don't lower their eyes and just bomb it in to the forward 50 time after time, we won't kick a winning score. The baffling thing is, before the bye our forward delivery was excellent pre-bye.

I
Sounds stupid but I don't know how Trelor makes us a better team maybe I am just frustrated but we desperately need a forward
We do need another forward. But our entries are shocking.
