If Geelong have to trade for Danger, are we likely to be in the market for Henderson? If so, what do you think he is worth?

We evaluate our list, so why not have the discussion. If the outcome is any different than that we keep him then we are in trouble. And be prepared for a whole lot more of this next year when he gets out of contract and other clubs are circling with some very attractive offers worth considering.Fortunately some of you aren't in control of list management.
Sidebottom won't be offloaded or discussed about.

Yeah..thank god no one in our list management team ever discuss hypotheticals !

I just read your post out loud and had to get mouth to mouth from the local hobo! This is could be the new urban warfare. Send your enemy messages with all of the full stops replaced with commas and wait in the shadows till they pass out from oxygen deprivation.I reckon the rule changes (90 rotations) are going to suit players like Sidebottom from an endurance point of view, and although not relevant to this post in terms of game strategy (think the press becomes less sustainable, foot skills more imperative than ever), there's a slight 'tweek' to what is the prototype player, and where endurance has always been an emphasis, it becomes even moreso with the rule change, although endurance can be built up over time, the players who don't generically have much of it will find it harder than ever before to get games. Sure, get rid of the sub, but we'll how it unfolds, ok recruiters obviously go for the best available, but these days you need patient draftees as well as talented, certainly a challenge for clubs these days to get the balance right between playing the young kids without impeding on your side's chances of winning week to week .. Then if you don't play them until they're ready, if they're impatient, they walk to a club who will offer them a better opportunity. Freeman certainly was drafted with high endurance attributes as well as speed, he'll be well suited to the rule changes, just needs to get on the park, & maybe not ours
Adelaide match Cats offer for Dangerfield.
Adelaide approach Collingwood for trade.
They request direct swap Danger for Sidey.
No player is untouchable if the price is right.
Ps Sidey going no where...part of our next Premiership push. Loved by coach. Hard worker. Big game performer. Still haven't seen the best of him yet.
But it all comes down to whether you want to keep a player who wants to be somewhere else. That's why players on contract are let go.800k for Danger? Surely Crows will match that, surely we can afford that?
haha when i wrote it made sense, in hindsight a load of dribble. Good thing I'm not part of the Westpac Centre brainstrust !I just read your post out loud and had to get mouth to mouth from the local hobo! This is could be the new urban warfare. The trick is to take a breather between the full stops. With a bit of practice you can do it.I just read your post out loud and had to get mouth to mouth from the local hobo! i'd rather trade pendles to the lions for jackson paine. What would everyone think of us offering Jarrad Grant from the doggies a contract? Is apparently testing the free agent waters. I think his best footy is quality, obviously can go missing a fair bit but I think could be worth a punt. Wouldn't have to give anything up for him and doubt he would cost to much but could be a handy 3rd forward for us.
Let other clubs circle. He is a Victorian lad. I have no doubts he will be a Collingwood player for life.
That's fine, discuss it, its not an ideal scenario though. We are looking to improve our list not worsen it.
He is one of our top liners of which we don't have as many left as we once did. He isn't for sale.
If Burns goes, then an obvious choice would be Stevie J. Give him a chance, great football brain and you just now he'll have some ideas with plenty of flair and freedom. So according to The Sun Scott Burns is a good chance for the Adelaide job, wonder who will replace him?
Good for him but I rather liked the idea of him at Collingwood and WC thought highly of him.
