No Chance we get that from the Saints as they have Pick 5. Might get it from North who have a Mid-Teen 1st Rounder

Several list managers at clubs other than Collingwood have suggested to AFL Media that Aish's actions indicate he may be interested in joining one of the remaining finalists.

1. Had 4-600k available to chase Kreuzer
2. Had 2-300k set aside for Freeman
3. May not actually be chasing Aish

It would seem that we thus have both the salary cap room and currency left available to be able to chase another pretty decent player this year.

I still just have a feeling we are the club of choice for Aish.

- Talk a few months ago was that Pickering was only dealing with Pies on Aish;
- His BFF turns down the lure of SA to stay on at Pies;
- We feed the Aish non interest to Connors so that his client (who was under the impression Aish was inbound on the weekend) is not as concerned about his job security (and may re-sign on unders);
- His silence remains until Pies/GWS agree on the goal posts for Treloar.
- The two 2nd rounders we get for Seed and Freeman seal the deal.

Bucks was his boyhood idol too wasn't he? I'm still confident and that cheeky comment by Pies media has only strengthened those thoughts.

I don't believe for a second we are not interested in Aish. With the delistings we've had, the departure of Seedsman, and possibly BK we have way less depth now than we did a few months ago. Add Freeman to that now, and there would easily be a spot for Aish at the club.

Connors is just trying to make Freeman look like he's not a pea heart who won't fight for a spot.

Especially since Hine had so much trouble splitting him and Scharenberg before the draft in 2013.

At this point trade period hasn't started.

At this point, almost all teams have cut players and are therefore taking a heap of picks in the draft.

Relax dude. We can't bring a player in until trade period starts. Why let every club know who our targets are at this point in time.

On Aisho, if we were still keen on him, what's happening now is likely the best way to play it. Imagine the shitstorm if Aisho announced us now. GWS would be thinking how is the Treloar deal going down then and the media would become a frenzy, especially after all the AT stuff.

To get Aisho, secure AT early in trade week with a good offer. 1st 2015 & 2nd 2016. Once deal done, announce Aisho coming to us. In no way are we going to risk the Treloar trade for nothing.

We may actually be after a player/s, that no one has mentioned yet.
