I haven't seen much of this board of late, just moved back to the NT and doing the usual new house things.

I'm not keen on Howe. I sure hope we've gone cold on him. I still like the idea of Aish. I believe he's going to be a star in the future and we should be working a deal to bring him on board. I'd love to see him play a wing/HBF role for a few years with us, would really add some quality to our team.

I need to do a little reading around this board and get up to speed.

Quick update.

Treloar ours.

Apparently Aish wants us or he will stay at Lions. Brisbane not willing to trade him according to Leigh Matthews so he has to sign with them or go to draft.

No other real news re Pies.

Unless there is a player they want like Oxley or seeds I don't see how we can do the deal. Two decent second rounders are unlikely to cut it imo.

Once treloar is done I suspect we wil find out.

Great... this makes players like Oxley, and possibly Seedsman surplus and potentially tradeable as part of the Aish deal.

FYI, Tomlinson runs a 9m 3km. Incredible tank and the only Giant who could go with NRoo earlier this year (kept him goalless).

You'd know your list best, of course, but he's a proper player

I'm going to Paris for my 40th in 2 weeks. I already know that instead of trawling through the Louvre, or walking through Montmartre, i'll be looking for cafe's with Wi-Fi so I can check the trade week info on an hourly basis.

You have sort of answered your own question in that post.

Brisbane know it out of us and them. They say we refuse to trade you to collingwood but you can go to the draft where you have no chance of getting to collingwood.

Hence, Aish just re-signs with brisbane. That is what they want.

Whoever is the manager of Aish needs to lift his game.

My belief is Connors (and all player managers) only care about their bottom line i.e cash and could not give a rats about their clients i.e. the players.

Hopefully i am wrong.

If Connors really cares about Aish and his intentions, i believe he gets to us.
