Not sure who GWS think they're bluffing. They can negotiate with other clubs as much as they like. But Treloar can't be traded somewhere against his will. And he wants to go to Collingwood. We know this. Treloar knows this. GWS knows this. And all the other clubs know this. So why pretend? Just seems to be pointless delay, IMO.

Why? Howe is an elite judge of the ball in flight, has great hands reliable kick for goal. He's also a human highlights reel, who offers a bit of X-factor (of which we are in desperately short supply). By contrast, Kennedy has no highlights reel at all! He has never established himself, ooks like a rabbit caught in the headlights and disposes of the ball in a rushed panic. The recruitment of Howe would also free up Elliott to play much more time in the midfield, where I reckon he could become dynamite once he builds up his endurance over a couple of seasons.

Reading between the lines I think you could assume they are asking about Jarrod Witts and a pick. If the pick was a round 2 I would be ok with that but whether we have to give that up who knows. Also suspect Collingwood are saying we want our pick 7 and you can have these 2 picks in the 20's that equal the same points plus something else (ie maybe a rd 2 from next year). benefit for them is that then enables them to use the pick 7 to land Aish and then get something back from Brisbane. Say a pick in the 20's or so.

I wouldn't imagine that we'd trade for Saad if we were to get him. Saints haven't made an offer, and there's not much other interest in him. PSD I think. If we did trade, we could probably get him for something in the 60's (kind of like the Garlett deal). I'd rather give the Saints that pick for Saad than use it in the draft.
