Not sure who GWS think they're bluffing. They can negotiate with other clubs as much as they like. But Treloar can't be traded somewhere against his will. And he wants to go to Collingwood. We know this. Treloar knows this. GWS knows this. And all the other clubs know this. So why pretend? Just seems to be pointless delay, IMO.

Geelong and Adelaide were able to behave like professionals to get yesterday's deal done. Why cant GWS?

Me thinks Witts and Seedsman might be packaged to Eade at the Suns for the juicy first rounder they are getting for Dixon. Any thoughts on what other picks might be involved if this was the case?

I hope we don't trade Witts as I think he will be a gun (Goldstein like). But if it happened I think he is far more valuable than Aish and would only do it to secure some sort of big forward. I would prefer to keep Witts as good big men are harder to come by than mids and we can't afford to bet the farm on Grundy becoming our saviour.

I've seen a bit of Acres, and he hasn't impressed me much. If we're interested, we must've liked him in his draft year, cos hasn't done a lot at AFL level (that I've seen anyway).

From memory the Jolly trade was done reasonably early. Then we had days of trying to get the Ball deal done afterwards.

Still think we will do the Treloar deal in the next few days. My take will be we will focus on the Seedsman, Freeman and Kennedy trades in the next few days, then with those picks get Treloar by the end of this week. Then we go hard at Brisbane for Aish early next week.

I've just read that he played 10 games in 2014, but none in 2015. I remember that he did a pretty serious injury, but was that the reason he didn't play any games last season?
