My nirvana would probably be;
Kennedy & 44 for Howe
Seedsman for pick 22 (GC)
Pick 22 for Aish (we may have to add to it which is fair. Would be open to Oxley and a swap of our 24 for something around 40 back from them)
Pick 7 & 26 (16) for Treloar
Freeman for 24 (or doing a 3 way trade with hawks which gets Anderson to us)
That would leave us with picks 24, 26, 62 etc.
I would also think about trading Witts to GWS or GC in order to split that 7 into a couple of picks around 13-22
Kennedy & 44 for Howe

I'd have Saad on as a kicking coach. Sure, it'd increase the length of our matches by half an hour if the players all adopt his lead up but he's a good set shot on goal.

I think he could be a nice crumbing forward option. Something we definitely don't have. A forward line containing Cloke, Moore, White, Saad, Howe and one of Fasolo/Elliott on mid/wing rotation could be very exciting to watch.
I think we nee to make some other decisions. Everyone is saying that we need to wait until we know about Treloar and Aish before we do anything, but I don't agree. Do Kennedy for Howe firstly, and then start talking about other players like Sam Reid. If we show too much interest they will screw us, but if they think we will move on if need be, they will think the hard line approach is not working. Not liking how we are getting personal with this Dave Matthews. If he gets offended, Treloar will end up in the draft.
The Saints had multiple times where they could of decided to promote Saad and play him in the seniors. They decided Jack Sinclair and Adam Schneider were more worthy. If that is what Saints thought, then why would he get game with us. I don't agree. I think Saad is the next Armstrong, Corrie pick.

Doesn't always work that way though. Jeremy Laidler could barely get a game at Carlton but he's good enough for Sydney?
Ceglar isn't good enough to get a game for Collingwood but he is for Hawthorn?

Ever seen Saad play? He's as much of a crumber as Nathan Brown
For every one you can bring up that succeeded, I can come up with five that didn't. Chances are, if a player drops into the development league, which is getting dropped out of the VFL, then you haven't got much hope of AFL. I think Corrie got dropped out of the Lions Reserves side a couple of times. Spencer White got dropped out of the VFL as well, we should give him a go.
We don't need dead wood. We can surely get better than Saad I reckon. If he was any good, Saint would be holding on to him.
The examples you have said too, were young kids, that just developed well with a second chance. Saad was a good AFL player, he just isn't any more.

Same mate I had a quick read over lunch and couldn't stop laughing at some of the rubbish. Was waiting for someone to say that 9/11 was a setup.

Given the amount of players that we have either delisted or are looking at offloading during trade week, I cant see how we can just throw away 2 picks for 1 player. Two first round picks is what Treloar is worth. But we need something back. Unfortunately the club will not want to make up the missing numbers in the draft with 3rd and 4th rounders
