Of all the rumours, what would people's dream trade period be:

For me it would be gaining Treloar and Aish. I really wanted Aish in his draft year. Not too fazed about anything else.

However if we either got Howe or kept Kennedy that would be great as well.

I wish we could keep Freeman and Seeds as well but those ships look to have sailed.

In summary, please bring on Aish and Treloar. Anything else is a bonus.

Thank you footy gods in advance.:)

Treloar, anything after that is a bonus for me.

Why exactly are Carlton looking to trade Casboult?

His kicking finally started to improve this season with the help of Sav, he's a big unit who can take a strong contested mark and pinch hit in the ruck.

It's not exactly like they're flush with key forwards.

If Witts had of been on the trade table I would have looked at him as ruck back up with the cost seemingly only a second rounder.
Just testing the waters I'd imagine. Levi apparently doesn't want to leave, but Carlton are just seeing what the market might offer.

Because Freo are desperate to push for a flag while Pav, Sandi and Micheal Johnson are still around (if Pav stays) and they know a KPF has been a big deficiency in their otherwise very good lineup and gameplan.
If they don't get McCarthy, then I think Casboult would be a very good get for them. Will not be expected to be dominant, but will need to keep playing as a big forward and playing his role in the forward line, and being a target they can kick it to when they are struggling to score. (Which is where I think Casboults talents lie)

I think he would be more valuable to Freo (and thus they would be willing to spend more) than he will be to Carlton. Carlton will miss him, but given that they have a lot of rebuilding ahead of them, could actually be better off longterm with pieces from Freo... it all really depends on what they think they can get from Freo.

Isn't Casboult a rotten kick?

Freeman for pick 24 from St.Kilda
Seedsman for pick 22 (Gold Coast) hey, it's been reported ang not impossible.

Trade pick 7 & 22 to GWS for Treloar.

Trade pick 24 to NM
Trade pick 26 to BL
BL get Bastinac from NM
Pies get Aisho

Out - picks 7 & 26, Freeman & Seedsman
In - Treloar and Aisho

BL out - Aisho
BL in - Bastinac & pick 26

NM out - Bastinac
NM in - pick 24

Who knows perhaps Howe to NM for pick 24, which Melbourne trade to us for Kennedy.

I don't normally like this type of post but thought it reasonable all round. Maybe Oxley to BL as well because I think he's heading there in the PSD anyway.

You know what?

How about you let this go and stop telling me to let this go.

If you don't consider people blatantly lying and hence leading to the pollution of this board with garbage against the rules you should have no issue with me exposing and laughing at it.

I like seeing some skepticism like you're bringing. Half the "mail" on here is as vague as astrological predictions, or fortune cookies: "Pies will meet a tall dark stranger", or similar. Easy never to be proven wrong if you always hedge your statements and only say what the papers are already saying...

A couple of Pies-related updates in here:
'...Gold Coast could be about to up the ante in its pursuit of Collingwood defender Paul Seedsman.
It's believed the Suns are considering offering the Pies their second-round pick, No.22, for Seedsman, an offer that fellow suitors North Melbourne and Adelaide could struggle to match.
Seedsman has been overseas but is set to return to Melbourne later this week, when he will nominate his preferred club...
The Demons' chances of gaining Collingwood's Ben Kennedy have drifted in recent days with the original hopes he may be caught up in a three-way trade involving Melbourne, Collingwood and Port Adelaide dashed. Kennedy is contracted and the expectations of the Demons and the Magpies are a fair way apart at this stage. Circumstances could change depending on Howe's preferred destination.
AFL.com.au understands the Magpies have not expressed interest in either of Port Adelaide's midfielders Aaron Young or Moore'.

I just want to add that I don't have any inside sources regarding any trades, sorry.
However if I am in the mood and feel like making one up it is not that I am lying, it is just that I feel left out.

Anyway, I don't mind reading post where posters may have inside info, if it doesn't come true, big deal, it could be that their source may have misled them. Not necessarily a lie.

BEEG don't stop, I don't mind your posts, it is not as if you boast, just sharing and see no issue.

I do have a source within the club but rarely see him maybe 3 or 4 times a year ,not always in the football season .he did tell me last year Mitch Clark was 100 percent certain to play for us well he was wrong .Sometimes information is right at the time but circumstances change.

Just on this.
I like Seeds but even I can admit pick 22 would be overs for him, most likely we'll be sending some steak knives back to GC.

Kenno's value is fairly low given it's obvious we don't rate him internally and a far better talent like Anderson is expected to fetch an early second rounder.
Even given that he's contracted we should take anything between pick 30 and 50 and run.

Stoked we aren't interested in 2 discards from Port.

Seedsman isn't fetching pick 22. Are you insane. Freeman was a pick 10 two years ago pick 24 is unders.
Seedsman is a pick 76 that's done hardly anything in 4 years. He's not netting pick 22.

My dream trade period would be:

Adam Treloar
James Aish
Jeremy Howe
Sam Wiedeman
Daniel Rioli

Don't know how possible all of this is though :/

Yes. I think if we can't get a good deal then it's best to keep him and hopefully he comes good next year.
I definitely think there's untapped talent there - can he settle down at AFL-level? He seems to get nervous or put too much pressure on himself or something.
