Hannerbery was a big time party bloke around the same age, the exact same rumours were said about him, I have no idea if he pulled his head in or not but his a star, I couldn't give two shits what he does off field.

It's all about support and education if DeGoey can't atleast pull his head in let's just say during regular season, (alot hit it hard on the break) that says a lot about the Collingwood environment in my opinion.

I I was De Goey's age on De Goey's money playing for the biggest club in the land and getting all teh attention that comes with it. I daresay I'd be hard pressed not to party. Today party drugs are viewed by Millennials in much the same way as I viewed alcohol and FWIW when I was 19 - 20, I was the only person in my social group that did not do drugs in 1 form or another. TBH what he does off the field is his business as long as he doesn't get caught.

Maybe it's a cultural issue at his High School? He and 'Pinga'tore (libba) went to the same college.

For what it's worth I love JDG and expect him to be a Collingwood player for the next 10 years. Not that it makes it ok but if the allegations are true then he is no different to a huge portion of current AFL players. I just want the kid to get the best out of himself.

Can I just request that we stop treating every rumour as fact? I think we can all agree that with this JDG crap that none of us are anywhere near close enough to the situation to have any idea what the truth is.

We are also all well aware that a lot of these sorts of things start from a random poster/radio caller claiming inside knowledge, and it spirals without any actual basis in fact.

JDG's manager had said he's going nowhere. I'm pretty sure I've heard Buckley say he's required (please don't ask me to find it I can't remember where I heard him say it). None of the respected journos with good track records in this stuff have reported him in links with any trades.

Clearly if there is any issues with his off field behaviour (which contradicts with everything we have seen and heard from him publicly) clearly it's not an untenable situation.

Come on man, Frost was beyond terrible as a footballer.

In true typical Collingwood fashion, he played that ONE good game on Franklin 2 years ago (most likely because Franklin was still heavily into his drug habit) and apparently he was a superstar for the rest of his career despite doing nothing of note for the next 2 seasons.

I have never, ever ever ever in my life seen a key defender give his direct opponent more space in my time watching football for the last 30 years.

Frost was an ok backstop, if injured players as he was cheap. But no fuss if we don't have him as not best 32 let alone best 22.

I'm going to be so annoyed if Richmond end up getting a second round pick for Vickery.
Essentially that makes our second round pick 26(right behind theirs). Knowing bloody Richmond they'll probably recruit the only bloke we want.
