AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Motlop... nah thanks
Some are more nobody here then others though. TradeWhisperer is some journo alts accounts that likes to stir. Witty and provocative. One can't take the Trade period too serious with everything that is thrown about.
Mayne is coming that's for sure and how much $$$ is justified , I will melt over that after 1 season of him in b&w.
I'm OK with thisLin Jong has re-signed with the dogs apparently
I was up in that same frame of mind until Gubby came into the frame. If he doesn't look at what is best for the club post Bucks, he deserves every ban the AFL and Caro can throw at him. As for Mayne I doubt he will be given his own B&W segment, newspaper column and what not media gig. Unlike our Brownlow candidate ( and according to evil rumours a a job for the GF)I've made my peace with it. To be giving just shy of $200k less to him than a guy that went top 10 in the Brownlow disturbs me, but my only concern from here is more for the incoming coach if Bucks falls over.
If it goes that way they'll look over things and just be like "WTF is this" crazy is about all I can say now.
Do you keep secret files on these guys? That poster was Bucksboys (Hinequarters) and whatever name he had before then.
Hoping to get some stuff from the Copeland tonight, im not going but will find out a few things tomorrow hopefully.
Any chance of Wells winning the Kangas Best and Fairest tonight then jumping in a cab and joining his future teammates at Crown for the Copeland in a Collingwood Tie? Man that would push a few buttons amongst the AFL.

thanks dave. leaving no stone un turned by the clubmattys123 Said He toured the Westpac Center this week
I don't think we'd be hot enough for him to give up a second under any circumstances.Personally, I'd do a third for Hoskin-Elliott, I have a hunch though that it's going to end up more like a second and swap of picks.
What would you do for him, and what's your predicition on what the actual trade will be?
Stop being so pessimistic. If we get a new coach I'm sure huh there will be a thorough selection process and the best candidate will single handedley fix all our issues, including player longevity! Only thing they won't be able to do is develop 20 players to finish top 10 (in the same year) of the Copeland. Ok so maybe Blair won't be developed into a contested marking king.I've made my peace with it. Bet lot of Whispers will come from Copeland.
Hopefully the Copeland Trophy Winners in here can get some Scoops

WHE is a bloody good player. I've seen him play plenty of times in Canberra. Great leap and mark, good acceleration and disposal skills. Exactly the kind of outside player we need. Closest comparisons on our list are probably Howe and to a lesser extent Aish. I think WHE could be better than both of them if he can get his body right. Minor but disruptive injury interruptions plus GWS's excess of quality outside players has seen him play far less at AFL level than his talent would justify. IMO he will be best-22 for us once he finds his feet. Anyway, no need to take my word for it - Treloar and Adams will be providing CFC with great inside info on his pros, cons and market value.I don't think we'd be hot enough for him to give up a second under any circumstances.

3rd rounder straight swap 2017 3rd. Should be Pick 50ishPersonally, I'd do a third for Hoskin-Elliott, I have a hunch though that it's going to end up more like a second and swap of picks.

You never know, Leppa managed to develop 4 winners of Lions B+F last year!Stop being so pessimistic.
