Yep, but suddenly Gubby has arrived, deep list cuts are made, guys like Brown and Blair are offered less than they expected (which caused Brown to walk, but I'm assuming Blair had no suitors.)
And I have a feeling Gubby might end up being on the match selection committee too given he's head of the footy dept. I reckon selection might be a little less frustrating for fans next year.

So Brown left because he was feeling like he needed a New Challange and Fan of Richardson
On output throughout 2017 Sideass and Vince are/will be equally quality players.
Brayshaw starting to enter his prime should see a lift in numbers to our "run with player".
Anyone using stats to mount a case that Degoey is a better player or prospect then Petracca has obviously not watched the 2 of them play and only reads the stat columns at the end of the game.
This is the whole argument re Degoey.
One side is saying statistically he is having a great year for a 2nd year mid playing HFF and will become a star (others not so sure on star but a good player none the less).
The other side (who can see he will become a good bulldozing type mid) have questions on his ability to become a truly damaging game winner worthy of a top5 selection (which petracca has already shown he is able to do coming off a serious knee reco).
Imo Petra and Goo are poles apart in talent.

Actually the more I think on it, the more I'm skeptical.
ASADA already investigated and handed this back to the AFL with no case to answer for at their level. There's been no tribunal to hear Gubby's or the players cases.

Maybe. He may have also taken one for the Brown clan (if Mitch ends up with us). We couldn't have played both he and Mitch so he takes up an offer on slightly better money which paves the way for Mitch to take his spot at Collingwood (who his wife now plays Netball for).

Would not surprise me one bit if they went down harder on Gubby and Lambert, made up the excuse for Whitfield that he is young and these people should be guiding him in the right direction.

If you're going by that logic, then we're pretty much as good as the team that won the premiership, considering we should've won both games against them this year..
