Hurley would have been massive but extremely difficult.

I'd turn my attention to Marchbank or maybe look at Clurey from Port.

Others might not like Sam Reid but I think he's worth a look.

I will be disappointed if we only get a 2nd round for Cloke. By that I mean hopefully we can add something (pick swaps) to get a 1st rounder, not that he is worth a 1st rounder on his own.

If we only managed a pick in the 20's for Cloke because we weren't creative enough, then i would prefer to keep him.

Come on g4f don't follow the masses........Cloke is 30 years old who has been dropped three times this year..........he can't even get a gig against a depleted Gold Coast at home.

If we get a second round draft pick for him we should all do cartwheels.

People slag Cloke off but they still want the earth for him..........sorry but it annoys me.

Rant over.....I still love the big boy.........but I have closure that he is a gonna.

I honestly think he will be good value to a team with good footskills.

You mean the 18yo that grew up playing the game? That kicked 60+ goals in his second season at 5 per game? That won 3 AA's? That went on to be named in a club TOC? The latter achivements after doing a knee at 19 in that 13 game season.

No I wasn't around for his debut. Lets be serious here the most realstic comparisons to Cox are Peter Street and Matthew Burton.

If he goes on to carve out a career as productive as either of those two he's done well, but to even put Salmon forward in a discussion about him is strange given Salmon was a freak and Cox has shown as much natural ability as the lampost out the front of my place.

If Cox played for any other club we'd be sitting back saying yeah he's super tall, so what? Yet you've compared him to a former star. Take the black and white glasses off it'll do you some good!

Edit: at the same age as Cox is right now Salmon had kicked 300 goals. Aim for the moon though because at least if you miss you'll land amongst the stars lol.

Hoskin Elliott to the Pies apparently a done deal once the trade period opens up according to Andy Maher and Brett Anderson. Make of that what you may.

I would be happy with that. If its a done deal than it wont cost us much as we don't have a 1st round pick.

Tomlinson can play but another who has struggled to get consistency at AFL level.

Had a 52 possession game in the NEAFL this year.

Can play forward and back.

23 years old.. could be handy if he comes cheap.

Tomlinson isn't good and many many GWS supporters know it. There's nothing more to ad bar he's pretty much Jesse White 2.0. He can't play forward, He can't play a KPD and he certainly isn't a tall midfielder.
