I reckon the blokes running our football club are doing a much better job than the people running our country. Not sure if you’ve noticed but we are a pretty well run club at the moment. No doubt they know a stack more than you about how to manage the players.

The thing with Kelly is he’s tall and we don’t have a lot of depth in talls. He’ll stay on the list until we can replace him with someone else. Doesn’t mean he’s any good just means we have no choice atm. With Dean permanently injured Kelly gets another chance.

I must admit, I don't know what the Kelly on a wing idea is all about.

Maybe they wanted to give him a good workout and a bruise free game - if he's our backup for Frampton, we can't afford for him to get injured.

I think Josh Eyre will have an important part to play in the VFL. If he shows he can hold down a Key back position in a head to head against Kelly he’ll be in the front spot to perhaps replacing him on the list at the end of Kelly’s contract. With Dean proving to be injury prone it will be an interesting watch.

I’m excited to hear that Ash Johnson kicked four goals including three in one quarter!

Hopefully he can build further on it as the VFL season gets going and force his way back into the AFL team. I think he offers much more upside as a forward than Reef.

It’s great to have real selection headaches now with talented, potent players like Ginni, AJ and Carmichael all fighting for inclusion and plenty of others pushing hard. It’s a big change from gifting games to Cal Brown.

We've been a well run club since Ed took the helm.

Kelly had been re-signed before Dean's injury unless I'm mistaken.

Every player has the talent, just can't see it with Kelly. I watched him in the back half of the year and he's another run-of-the-player. I would expect that before his ten year deal expires, we'll see him live up to his potential. If people think WHE is the survivor of our AFL side, then Kelly is the survivor of our VFL team. I'd have kept McMahon over him.
