It is disappointing that we may not get Joyce after all. Stein was picked up by Gold Coast in the Rookie Draft a while back.

But the vfl team hasn't sacked you. For those who stay in the state league, your choice is a VFL team linked to an AFL team that dropped you or a VFL team linked to an AFL team who doesn't want you. I think I'd be inclined to stay with the vfl team where I'm with my mates. But you'd probably have to be in that situation.

But gee some big loses in Wellings, Tardrew, Fowler, Weitering, Poulter, C Brown, T brown, Madgen, McMahon…
In saying that the senior squad has better depth now and a few returning from long term injury … so in any given week there will be solid VFL level players in Carmichael, Macrae, Bianco, Ruscoe, Dean, Hill, (the other) T Wilson etc running around each week
plus a crop of kids in Harrison, Draper, Allen, Richards, Ryan all developing
Hopefully they can go a step further this year

We drafted three players this year who are more than ready for the VFL and I like the kids that are coming through.
They had Tyler Brown for a while as well. Rantall is one I think we'll regret letting go. He can tag and run and comes from a basketball background.

Looks like Tardrew will try to commute, as he was there. Hopefully it works out, as I'd hate to lose him.

76 I believe is that ruck we played a couple times last season. Tom Roberts
36 is Ben Quaynor. IQ's younger brother. Was overlooked in the draft. He's taller than his brother, at 188cm
