For sure, but getting beaten as a defender could give him insight into what a forward could do to beat a defender, from the defender's point of view.

I'm happy for Medhurst to stay at Collingwood, and hopefully he won't be so effected by injuries in the future as he has been this season. I'm all for you going to Freo though. They need some more supporters. I'll even pay for a Fremantle membership for you next season if you do.
