That was my initial thought. Seemed to put a lot of weight through the achilles.good, thought it looked like an achilles when he first landed
One game closer... now the week off and probably Geelong waiting in the preliminary. This is going to be a tough premiership to win.
The word from the club docs is that @sharrodw_21 suffered a sprained ankle in the win and should be OK for the prelim. #gopies
Good news about Wellers.
We now have 13 days till our next game, lets just sit back and hope Freo pull off an almighty upset next week, or at the very least beat the shit out of the Cats.
That was one of the most enjoyable games I have ever been to.
It was great to see us absolutely smash the Dogs, showing the AFL world that we are back, and we are the force we have been all year.
I seriously don't care that we play Geelong in 2 weeks, we are ruthless, we destroy sides now, and if you have any weaknesses, we will exploit them.
Highlights of the night for me were Leigh Brown's 70 metre chase down of Cross, Didak's superb sealer late in the game, and Swan, Thomas and Pendlebury's ability to rack up the stats.
That was awesome, now we have to wait 13 days till our next game.
There's no way Freo will beat Geelong. The prelim will be alot tougher to win against the Cats. But you've to beat the best to be the best and I just think that the win against Geelong a few weeks back will hold us in good stead. We now know we can beat them.
Big improvement I thought if you take into account 6 or so rushed behinds.Good win still would have been good if we had been more accurate. I noticed that we don't have much 'luck' in front of goals.
good news that sharrod's ankle isnt as bad as we all 1st thought. He'll be fine.
