The Pies and Dogs have shown they can take it right up to Geelong. Don't write them off. The Saints are the team that have the edge of all of them at the moment. Only time will tell.

I always pencil Pies in for a game where they over achieve. That was last night. Like they beat Geelong in 07. However that being said it will be interesting how they come up against the Blues, Hawks and Dogs again.
Collingwood didn't beat Geelong in '07. We did in '06 and '08 though. Probably should get your facts right.I always pencil Pies in for a game where they over achieve. That was last night. He said 'over achieve', not 'overachieve'.How the hell can you 'overachieve'.
Are you blokes over achieving at the moment?
Are there actually Collingwood supporters complaining about last nights umpiring??
How much more bias umpiring do you want.
u have no chance for the top four with your run home.
Five more wins and we become the first club in VFL/AFL history to notch 1400 wins.
Collingwood looked horribly vulnerable in the last quarter. If I were a pie fan fan I'd be a little concerned. Instead of pumping their fists and jumping around like 4 year olds they should have walked off a little subdued. The Dogs are not a big scalp... it's just a win that they almost gave up.
Ladies and gentlemen i give you the Essendon F.C
didnt catch the last qtr?
It never ceases to amaze the amount of football peanuts on BF.
Granted the Bulldogs mounted a last qtr fight back, Collingwood absolutely smashed the Bulldogs, not in stats but in general football play.
There are no excuses. No "over-achieving", umpiring decisions, stats etc. On TV it may have looked different but you only had to be at the game to understand how Collingwood picked the Bulldogs apart at will. Malthouse out-coached Rocket and Collingwood were far more disciplined and better with their execution of skill level.
Collingwood were a 5-7 goal better team all night (until the last qtr) and everyone knows it but for one reason or another, don't want to admit it.
That last qtr took a little of the gloss off over what should have been a comfortable win- again a credit to the Dogs and the spirit/belief within that team. They are a top 4 football side.
-Didnt see the two goals from soft frees in the first qrt?
-Soft as butter 50 against aker?
-Davis mark in the crowd?

I dont know if this has been mentioned (cbf reading through all these pages) but did you see Davis' just watch Ward take that mark right in front of him and didnt even make it contested, that was soft! Anyway good win by Collingwood, im dissapointed but it doesnt matter to much!

Exactly, Ward is 19 (I think) and he went straight for the ball proberly thinking he was going to get smashed and Davis let him mark it pretty much uncontested! All it needed was a contest to create a spill as we were 2 on 1 . I was very pissed about that contest .
Right now, Collingwood are the team to beat (baring St Kilda).
and im yet to hear a bulldogs fan admit they were almost gifted the game in the last quarter by the umpireshave yet to hear a Collingwood supporter acknowledge the golden run they got from the umps in the 3rd quarter.
but thats Collingwood supporters for you.
