They’d struggle to field a front office as well.Might struggle to field teams.

That does it. I'm on holidays until further notice. There's a Maserati that parks outside of my place nearly every day.A Maserati is said to have been spotted near the player’s home
Shame this attitude didn’t accompany the previous senior players.
I like it, trouble is, there would be quite a few players in a sticky situation and I guess everyone deserves a second chance. Most of us have made a wrong choice in life in one form or another and just imagine if we were told, that's it. Its when you get three or four chances {especially if its covered up} that it becomes never ending. The difference is they are role models and are suppose to be setting an example, but they are after all, human. If only the AFL had a one strike policy.
You use and get caught, you’re done.
Personally I don't care about strikes outside of game / performance / WADA rules. If someone wants to smoke cones over summer or chew gummies all off season and can somehow still perform come game day good luck to them IMO.If only the AFL had a one strike policy.

Maybe it did, maybe it didn't, I think what you have to factor in is, essentially one word, class. Yes you all can buy in, have a go, train hard but if you haven't got the class its not going to happen. I mean you would improve a little bit, but not enough to lets say make the Eight.Shame this attitude didn’t accompany the previous senior players.

We haven't had the class, but now that has changed significantly. Also don't discount the enthusiasm of the youngsters we've brought in to the club, I think we've seen more in eight weeks than we've seen in four years and that's nobody's fault its just football, it doesn't matter how good your endeavour is, if you haven't got the cattle, your pushing sh*t uphill.
Our time of pushing sh*t uphill is finished, I would like to say its starting now, but the truth of the matter is, it started just before that Gold Coast game and that's before we brought in more class. Now if your a North Melbourne supporter, you can be cautious, you can be hesitant and you can even be optimistic, but by god if your not excited with our "baby" kangaroos heading into this season then there is something wrong. Me, for this year, well I think this sums it up....
Agree almost word for word. I hope like hell my young bloke suddenly finds the joy in footy because he's in for a hell of a ride over the next decade IMO.Maybe it did, maybe it didn't, I think what you have to factor in is, essentially one word, class. I get you Gasometer, but the funny thing is, last year we did improve, to the amount I thought we would. The only thing I got wrong was the wins. I thought we would win 4 games, maybe 5 at the most, and you know what, there were several games we should have won but for reasons I've already posted about, it didn't eventuate and that's why I'm very excited for this year.
…yeh that’s wat I hoped/thought this time last year until the first Practice Game
I’m done living on hope. Wins will mean improvement
He must've gotten the early wordCunners got out at the right time.
he could simply threaten them with disclosing his weight in this season to get out on an interview.Cunners got out at the right time.

At our stage of developing there is no way on gods green earth we should have played the way we did against Sydney, Carlton, Essendon, Collingwood and Gold Coast, [I could have missed one or two}. The two main games being Sydney, who the previous year played off in a grand final,{we pretty much cut them to ribbons, but for the unthinkable to happen} and Gold Coast who I tip to go very close to making the 8 this year and with their very good midfield, just let that sink in for a second, what we nearly did and what we ended up doing.
I know I've posted this before but that Gold Coast game is just off the charts, I was expecting quite a decent hammering against their midfield and ruck and other players and to half time that was what was happening. I thought with their bum up it might get out to a very crazy margin and really hoped we could play better in the second half and limit the damage. What we did to that team in the second half, a few words come to mind, implausible and unimaginable, and without our two best players, its starting to look scary doesn't it.
Remember this, Gold Coast are a very good team, slowly rising up the ladder, this year they will beat more teams than will beat them, its taken time but they are quite close to creating history for their club this year. Wins will mean improvement, what we're going to see this year is akin to seeing a UFO, people know there out there,{well most people} but until YOU see one your not going to believe. I have a funny feeling before this year is done, your hope & excitement and feverishness are going to go to anther level.
Good. The average player salary is going up by 50 ******* percent. Whilst the class gap just grows and grows. For that sort of money I want to be able to throw fruit at them in the street
No current season stats available
It'll be great. 20 mins of "yeah nah" and talk of "building relationships".....can't wait.
